Putting these together because my opinionsbare very similar (as you can tell) but basically I haven't really considered it before but know that I have I like them so much!!!

Another Quincedes rambling

This time i´m speaking in favor 100% on the friendship alone,since the point of this post is "Quinn/Mercedes could have made Samcedes better"

Alright, remember Quinn dated Sam, let´s guess Mercedes is

1)still bffs with Quinn

2) Her crush on Sam is noticiable to the audience

So him dating Quinn could had been a source of conflict, Mercedes keeping her feelings quiet since she would fight for a boy with Santana but not Quinn her true friend. She goes distant from Quinn and she doesn't understand. Sam also stars having feelings for Mercedes as well, since he wants to be a good friend for a person so important to his girlfriend.

Unfortunately for this to happen is needed to keep that stupid Fuinn vs Fabrevans storyline so while Quinn is doing that sutpid shit with Finn,Sam has time to get close to Mercedes but as soon as he get´s feelings for her he distance himself since he wouldn't betray Quinn.

After the Fabrevans break up , Sam and Mercedes are still uncertain to get together ,since there is writen that is wrong to date an ex/best friend and vice versa, until Quinn herself confronts Mercedes for having been so distant from her ,realizes Mercedes likes Sam and asures her she won't be upset about both of them dating,Sam is a nice guy and since Quinn hurted him, the least she could do is finding him a girlfriend that will treat him right.

I know all this is cliche and cheesy but at least is something compared with holding hands the season finale and breaking up the very next episode with absolutely no screen time.

There is also the option to pair Quinn and Mercedes but Murphy can't handle the power

I have a draft of one of my Glee reactions that i never published because i kinda forgot when the only text was "Quinn! i knew you had a heart!" and i remember it was when she got to Mercedes when she was having body-image issues and it was the first time i actually understood why so many people like Quinn (i have a love-hate relationship with the character myself).This was also important to Mercedes, since we see she was not as confident as we were lead to believe and that´s okay, she is a teenager and it makes her more human.

The fact that Mercedes and Quinn weren't so diferent, even before it was revealed that Quinn used to be overweight; Quinn dealed with her low self steem by putting herself on a high social status, while Mercedes embraced her individuality and talent.

Which followed Mercedes helping Quinn in her pregnancy to the point she asked her to be there when she gave birth.

Quinn also went to Mercedes while she was trying to date Puck, a guy that may be the only male character Quinn actually liked romantically (or at least made it seem real) and instead of trying to attack her , she warned her about Santana.Obviously Mercedes not being hurt was her priority.

Quincedes would had been very wholesome and groundbreaking, but that´s a matter of opinion.What is a fact is that their friendship SHOULD had go on beyond season 1.

EDIT: There is also how Mercedes forced Puck to keep the secret of the baby

I think Mercedes was COMPLETELY WRONG ,Finn was being dragged down to take care of a kid without his consent,they were depriving him of a choice and that would never not be right.However, while i don't aprove the show´s script for trying to make me believe she was speaking words of wisdom , i can justify it by saying Mercedes wasn't trying to hurt Finn and was blinded to trying to help Quinn that in her perspective it sounded right. It was not right but as a teenager i get she sometimes can have wrong ideas.

Doing a #MercedesJones appreciation day because if you didn't love her then we can't be friends... Next we have her friendship with #QuinnFabray! How could you not love them?! They really helped each other out and cared about one another!
