Quinlei Rathim
My star wars oc <3 she originally started out as a self insert so if you know me irl and see similarities, no you don't.
There is SO much that goes on with her, my friend and I (once again @starffledust ) worked on this together and we have more characters that go together in this. This one has a whole timeline that we made (with an alternate universe timeline too) so I'll try and summarize as much as possible.
Born in 46 BBY, Quinlei Rathim (she chose her last name, she doesn't know her actual one) is a Tatooine street kid in Anchorhead (Don't ask where her parents are idk either). She spent her time avoiding Tatooine traffickers, squatting in (mostly) abandoned ranches/homes, and spending time with O'muurek'hu "Muureki" Sandsailor, the weird blonde kid that follows her around. Once again he is @starffledust's oc.
An incident happens when she is nine in which a ranch she thought was abandoned was actually occupied, and the owner mistaking her for a wild animal, shot her in the hip by a blaster. Yes it can work I swear, I researched a ton and wrote a medical dissertation that I'm not sure I'll post here. But anyways because of this, along with a lack of proper medical care (Muureki scavenged expired medication and bacta to hold her over), the wound got infected and she became sick. In a desperate move, Muureki hijacks a small ship that his mechanic parental guardian was fixing up.
So the fun thing is, these two are force sensitive yaayyy so yknow how the Jedi track down force sensitive kids? Yeah basically they get found in space after stealing the ship, because the Jedi managed to track down their force sensibilities due to them no longer being in Tatooine. Shockingly enough, Muureki's plan worked, so they were taken back to the temple and Quinlei was given medical treatment while everyone discussed what to do with these two weird force sensitive kids.
After a year long healing process, both malnourishment and the physical injury, Quinlei eventually is chosen to become a padawan by a new Jedi Knight, Nassivan. Idk why he just felt it in the force or something. So essentially she starts her jedi training at 10, while Muureki had started a year before with a Jedi named Laneleth Dira O'otu, also at 10.
There is so much still that goes into it, like literally her entire 46 years of life, but I will not get into that now unless necessary. And yes she is a clone wars oc.
Her clothing will be pretty standard jedi, I will explain the differences, along with civilian clothing she wears for reasons.
Appearance wise, she has very red, thick curly hair, pretty tan skin with many freckles and moles (she lived on Tatooine c'mon), big greenish, hazel eyes that look almost permanently wide. She's always staring. She's got that weird autistic girl who rarely speaks type swag. Lowkey she reminds me of Cassandra Cain (Batgirl/Orphan) from Batman comics with the way they both act.
