👗 - dressing with style

James isn’t stylish in the way most people think of when they hear the term, he doesn’t keep track of the newest designs and whatnot. But he needs to look good to do well in his line of work and damn can he rock a suit. Long story short, the man knows the value of a good tailor.

James has... no magical ability. No card tricks, no sleight of hand, but more importantly, no real magic. He had a good week or two after his powers started showing where he thought it all might be based in that, but he has a better handle now.

The same way they picked their costume, Emery leans toward clothing it is easy to teleport with, leading to light fabrics or outfits that fit close to their skin. The type of fashion may vary due to them being a well traveled individual with a heart for trying new things. Only on the most casual days do they turn into a lumberjack butch.

“When you said you’re magic in bed this isn’t exactly what I expe-” “Is this your card?” “Holy shit.”

In Emery’s experience, sleight of hand tricks are harmless fun that make excellent conversation starters - especially among cultures that are unfamiliar with this particular form of entertainment.

10/10 would let a (good) magician saw them in half.

As for the notion of real magic, they admittedly hold some doubts. It might be surprising, it might not, but Emery seeks out structure in the world, believing there to be (nonmagical) reason behind all happenings. But it wouldn’t be the end of the world if proven wrong.
