5. Gay - He is homosexual. That’s all. adjdkdkd but really, I love how much he loves men and also how much he loves me. I love hard he loves and how he much effort he puts into relationships with people he cares about.

4. Healthy Masculinity - He has a lot of masculine traits, not because he feels the need to but just because he wants to. He feels comfortable in his own skin, dressing and acting the way he wants without ever putting down femininity, and is able to also engage in stereotypically feminine activities without feeling like his identity is threatened. His masculinity is kind, protective, and strong. He always makes me feel safe.

3. Joy - Quinn can make anything fun and funny. I, and many other people, love being around him because he always has something to say and the way he says it is always entertaining, even when he’s complaining. He tries to focus most of his thoughts on the things that put him in a good mood, which helps me focus on those things too.

2. Confidence - Even when he’s unsure of himself, he puts himself out there and pretends to know exactly what he’s doing. He shows people who he is, genuinely and honestly. And it pays off, because people really like who he is!! I’ve become a lot better at acting confident and believing in myself through watching him.

1. Effort - He tries really hard in all parts of his life. He does great in school and is always trying to improve at his hobbies (sometimes to the point he forgets that they’re meant to be fun). But the reason this is the top of the list is that Quinn, more than anyone I’ve ever met, has actively worked to listen to me, understand me, and take care of me in a way that will make me feel good. He didn’t know those things intuitively, but instead took the time to figure them out. This means more to me than I can say.
