These pictures were taken over the course of six months (Winter Solstice 2007 - Summer Solstice 2008) using a pinhole camera made with a soda can. The streaking pattern is the sun's trajectory over the sky. While I am not a fan of most of Quinnell’s work, these are by far some of the best long exposure photos I have ever seen.
