Big Earthspark spoilers/fan theory

This is about the last batch of episodes in Earthspark, but considering Quintus Prime and the Emberstone being very important parts of the series and just how much Quintus Prime is associated with the Quintessions in Transformer lore, well, I have a theory.

Quintessions in the original G1 are a weird lot, but also evil bastards. Like the kind who’d sell plant robots to a planet that lost it’s original vegetation due to acid rain caused by pollution caused by a factory they created on the planet itself. In at least one continuity they made the Transformers and have enslaved/tried to kill them off whenever possible.

The Quints themselves are mechanical in nature, though they vary, most of the time they look like this

Considering the importance of Quintus Prime in the series, it would be weird if these guys never showed up in the series proper, though not unheard of.

So I bring in this idea, simply because this guy shows up in a few of the screenshots of the last batch of Earthspark episodes and seems to be an antagonistic character. I think this four armed guy is a Quintession.

One of the main reasons why is how thus guy seems to share some structural similarities with what appears to be a Sharkticon in the 1C trailer, namely the arms. I also think that might be a Quintession simply because this guy has a what looks like a face on their torso, which is reminding me of the five faces on the Quintessions from G1. I know this creature also has what looks like an arachnamech in it’s head region, but considering we’ve seen this creature near what looks like a space bridge, I’m inclined to this think this is an Earthspark Quintession.

Or I could be wrong and that’s Mandroid’s new form. Or it could be both a Quintession and Mandroid fused together, I mean, Mandroid doesn’t have 4 arms as far as I’m concerned.

Earthspark Theory: He was Lying

I think Mandroid was lying about liberating the Sharkticons from their oppressors. Nay, I think he was working with them.

What I'm saying is that Mandroid was working with the Quintessions the entire time. Hence why does he have a lance that can take out lifeforms that live off of energon in the first place, or that set of mech armor or even talking about how he's been healed and is better than ever? Nevermind, the Quintessions have been the sworn enemies of the Transformers so why would he be fighting against a group of alien lifeforms who also hate the Transformers? Nevermind he states he single-handedly "liberated" the Sharkticons from their oppressors, which feels more suspect to me than anything else.

My theory: Mandroid was working with the Quintessions to scout for more Transformer planets/colonies they could conquer. He was healed by them and susequently mutated by them in the process, making him a pseudo-Quintession in the process. The Quintessions would go to other planets, suitably planets hosting species of Transformers under the guise that they were liberating them from their oppressors (possibly the Intruder Empire, or Lord Delirious Imperious?) only to enslave them in turn. The Quintessions probably did it because Mandroid offered them information about Quintus Prime, the Emberstone, and the Transformers left on Earth. And in turn they gave Mandroid the healing he needed and some tech he could use to take out energon feeding races. I think the way that he dismissed the Sharkticons' concerns about the energon weapon kind of hinted he wasn't being fully truthful about his story coming out of the portal like that. In addition, how did he get such a huge portal in the first place? My theory is the Quints gave him a lot of technology, including space bridges.

In addition, my theory is that the Quintessions in Earthspark are probably going to share a lot of the same physical features as Final Form Mandroid does. Namely in that they will have stretchy arms, suckers on one pair of arms, pointy teeth and glowing red eyes. So yeah, I think they're going to diverge from the traditional depictions of the Quintessions, while probably keeping a lot of their more devious traits.

Lastly, the Quintessions will probably come to Earth, thinking that Mandroid has shut down the majority of Transformers so they can do whatever they need to with the shut down Transformers, only to find out that the leaders of the two main fractions of the Transformers are still functioning and probably try to weave some lie to make the human race further distrust the Transformers, maybe even get them to expell the Transformers (and Terrans) off of Earth.
