A view you don't often see, zoomed in on the endband. This stop-motion video of the turning of the quires is by Chris Lippa, Digital Imaging Specialist in our digitization lab. He's always looking for new ways of looking at books! The book is Ms. Codex 1233, a 15th century breviary used in the cathedral at Cologne from the time it was made through the 18th century.
