Izuku got quirked back into his middle school body and Katsuki is gonna keep him safe from the villains that quirked him (cause he lost ofa). Poor Izuku fell back into his anxious scrungly lil sad bean nature. Fortunately Kacchan will be there for him when he needs it.
Nitroglycerin is a vasodilator. It's a quick-acting medication for angina, a symptom of CAD. All this means nitroglycerin lowers blood pressure and expands the blood vessels to promote bloodflow.
We can see in Bakugo's parents that neither of them have adaptations against their own Quirks. Mitsuki's glycerin absorbs back into her skin, giving her a flawless complexion. We don't know much about Masaru's Quirk, but he seems to not use it often.
(An interesting headcanon I saw in a fic was that Masaru actually is poisoned by his own acid reabsorbing into the bloodstream, incapacitating him mentally and making him a danger to himself and others during the summer.)
So, genetically, Bakugo is susceptible to the effects of nitroglycerin from his own Quirk. Even with his skin functioning as a barrier, think of all the nitroglycerin he's reabsorbing/ingesting, especially during the summer months. And then there's that Team-Up Missions manga special, where the very first mission involves a civilian who's being poisoned by his own Quirk and needs to use it in order to stay alive. Bakugo plays a large role in offering relief to the civilian--he's almost understanding in a way we rarely see. This empathy with the so called "villain" makes me think he may have some of his own experience getting poisoned by his own body.
The human body releases about a litre of sweat a day, which evaporates instantly (so pretty unnoticeable). But this can increase up to ten litres a day depending on exercise, temperatures, and other factors. Even assuming his sweat is a diluted form of nitroglycerin (but not that diluted, for his Quirk to produce such large explosions), Bakugo is probably suffering from incredibly low blood pressure. Bakugo's a loud, pretty angry guy. This much we know. And what happens when you're angry? Your blood pressure elevates. This idea of Bakugo suffering from low blood pressure combated by his anger issues is supported by his apparent lack of balance at Ground Beta after the Kamino Incident, a period of time where he spent most of his time considerably not angry. You can also see in several panels that he's also suffering from blurred vision, pale and clammy skin, and other symptoms of hypotension.
But in the epilogue, these effects seem to be noticeably lessened despite Bakugo's considerably calmer demeanor. My guess is Edgeshot did something in Bakugo's heart to make it larger or stronger to combat this hypotension.
We also know Quirks affect behaviour. So I'm wondering: how much of pre-War Bakugo's behavior was his Quirk, and how much was his upbringing? Bakugo's anger may have very well kept him alive.
I wonder if Aizawa's quirk works through mirrors. Like, if he saw the reflection of someone behind him, if he would be able to Erase their quirk.
Erasure requires line of sight to work, line of sight is the perception of light with receptors, and mirrors bounce light, so technically its activation conditions are being fulfilled. /trust me im a rabbit
Which leads to my second question, if we release a wild Aizawa into a villain-infested house of mirrors—
Hitoshi practically jolts upright in bed when his phone rings, interrupting his precious sleep. It takes him a moment to understand why his phone is ringing and then he's scrambling like mad for it, because people know better than to call him.
Which means this must be an emergency.
"Hello," he says as soon as he accepts the call, his eyes still too blurry with sleep to make out the phone number and he's met with the hustle and bustle from a hospital on the other end, which immediately makes his stomach sink.
There are only two reasons why a hospital would call him and Hitoshi hates both of them.
"Musutafu General. Shinsou Hitoshi?" a pleasant female voice rings out and immediately Hitoshi's ears start to ring.
This is his worst nightmare happening because if a hospital is calling him then that means one of his parents is in there and if they call him instead of the first medical proxy then that also means the other one is hurt, too.
Fucking fuck, he thinks, even as he makes an affirmative noise.
"We're calling you to inform you of the hospitalization of Bakugo Katsuki," the nurse goes on and for a moment Hitoshi doesn't know what to do with these words.
"Huh?" he breathes out and the nurse stops in her spiel about what he's allowed to do now.
"Are you not his medical proxy?" the asks, for once apparently unsure and Hitoshi shakes his head to clear his thoughts.
"No, no, I am, sure I am," he gives back, even though he isn't sure about anything.
Katsuki certainly didn't mention this, even though it would make sense, seeing how they are roommates and especially given the fact that Hitoshi listed Katsuki as his medical proxy right after his parents, too, but still.
This is catching him off guard and it doesn't help that he just got his sleep interrupted.
"Will you be coming in?" the nurse asks and Hitoshi nods, like the idiot he is. "Sir?"
"Yes, sorry, I'm coming in," he rushes out and scrambles out of bed, hanging up on the nurse after getting the confirmation of where he has to go.
He's dressed faster than ever, and then he takes a moment to check the news. The nurse didn't mention and life-threatening injuries, but Hitoshi would really not want to go in blind, but a quick search only shows him a Katsuki who was still standing proudly after a villain take-down.
It would seem that he collapsed right after, but if he was standing, then Hitoshi feels comfortable ruling out any serious injuries.
Reassured like that he finally gets going and when he's stuck in public transit, the trains seemingly crawling along, he curses his every decision. He really should have brought his capture weapon and vaulted himself over the roofs of the city.
It might not have been faster but it definitely would have helped with burning off some of his nervous energy.
Still, despite the way the trains seem to move in slow motion, he eventually makes it to the hospital. Finding Katsuki's room is an entire nightmare in itself, because no one is especially helpful in guiding him there, but he makes it eventually.
The fact that he hears Katsuki yelling from a few rooms away certainly helps and Hitoshi allows himself a small smile because if he's still making a ruckus like this then it can't be too bad.
"The hell are you yelling about?" Hitoshi says as he steps into the room and Katsuki's glare immediately pins him down.
"You," he says as if Hitoshi is personally responsible for getting him there and Hitoshi gives him a lazy salute as he moves over to the bed.
"Me," he agrees, letting his eyes roam over Katsuki's form.
There are some scrapes and bruises on him, some butterfly bandages are keeping a cut on his forehead shut, but most notably Hitoshi notices the cast on his arm and leg.
"Both, really?" Hitoshi mutters and Katsuki bristles at him.
"Fuck off, you get hit by an over-dimensional sledgehammer, lets see how many of your bones are still intact after that," Katsuki grumbles and yeah, fair.
Hitoshi saw the video, so he damn well knows what happened and he would guess that there's a broken rib or two in there as well.
"Fair," Hitoshi easily gives back and sits down at the edge of the bed. "How are you doing?"
"I'm peachy," Katsuki gives back and falls back into bed.
"Healing quirks?" Hitoshi wants to know because if it's just broken bones then Katsuki shouldn't have to stay here for too long and Katsuki glares at him as if Hitoshi asked the single most stupid question of all times.
"Been there, done that," he growls out, which would explain the fairly pale colour on his face.
Healing quirks do tend to take it out of you.
"How long until you'll be released, then?"
"A while yet," Katsuki sighs out, closing his eyes for a moment. "I'm on what they call 'pain relief observation'," Katsuki tells him and Hitoshi frowns at the very audible quote marks.
"Why?"
"Quirk shenanigans," Katsuki mutters and lolls his head around. "My quirk fucks with my blood pressure and the doctors aren't quite sure what else it might still fuck with, so they are keeping me here under observation."
"Huh," Hitoshi huffs out because he never even thought about that.
He knows that nitro-glycerine causes low blood pressure and that Katsuki barely notices that because his anger keeps his blood pressure elevated enough to not be that big of a deal—plus he got a shit ton of medication after he literally got his heart exploded.
But apparently pain medication is not usually in that mix, and seeing how Katsuki is one of the most promising rising heroes of their time it would make sense that the doctors decided to keep a close eye on him to make sure that Katsuki doesn't drop dead.
"How long?"
"I really fucking hope not that long," Katsuki gripes out and Hitoshi huffs out a laugh.
"Want me to go find out?"
"Please," Katsuki almost whines out, his uninjured hand moving jerkily over the bedsheet and Hitoshi doesn't have to be a genius to know that he hates how scratchy the sheets are.
Hitoshi nods and goes on his quest to find someone who can tell him what's going on with Katsuki and it takes him entirely too long to get the answer "We'll have to see".
Hitoshi almost doesn't dare to go back to Katsuki with this, but he's more likely to blow a gasket if Hitoshi doesn't come back and so with a sigh he makes his way back to his room.
"Oh gods," Katsuki says as soon as Hitoshi steps into the room. "They want to keep me here."
"Not really," Hitoshi replies because the nurses didn't seem overly enthused about having yelling, gruff Katsuki on this floor for longer than absolutely necessary but that doesn't mean he's allowed to go. "They basically told me to fuck off because they don't know themselves."
"What the actual fucking fuck," Katsuki grumbles. "There has to be a record for me; there has to be a detailed list of all the pain medication I got way back when, so they should know what works for me, goddamit."
"Sorry, this is all I can tell you," Hitoshi says with a shrug, though he understands Katsuki's frustrations. "Can you even leave with a leg and an arm in a cast?"
"They put those on me before the healing quirks were here. At this point they are mainly decoration."
"Nice," Hitoshi almost carelessly says and then fixes Katsuki with a look. "Can we talk about the obvious elephant in the room, then?"
Katsuki lets out a long breath as he rolls his eyes and mutters "If we have to", which, yeah. They have to.
"The hospital called me," Hitoshi says without fanfare. "Me. Why?"
"Who else would they call?"
"Your parents? Midoriya?" Hitoshi offers, and hell, even Kirishima would maybe make more sense than Hitoshi.
"Yeah, right," Katsuki scoffs. "And have them fawn over me? No thank you."
It feels evasive, almost like a lie, and Hitoshi narrows his eyes at Katsuki.
"Don't bullshit me," Hitoshi gives back. "I told you that I put you down as my medical proxy after my parents. You could have done the same."
Katsuki almost looks chagrined but the shock still sits too deep for Hitoshi to simply let it go. So he continues to stare at Katsuki until he's the first to drop his gaze and that makes Hitoshi happy enough for now.
"I just thought it would make sense," Katsuki mumbles and Hitoshi rolls his eyes because that is so not the point of this.
"I'm not mad you did it," Hitoshi gives back. He doesn't even need an explanation, not really, because he thinks—he hopes—he gets it, but—"You could have said. That's all I'm saying. I have you as my proxy as well, don't I, so I get it. I just informed you of that."
"Yeah, yeah, sorry," Katsuki grumbles, a faint blush on his cheeks and Hitoshi flicks the back of his uninjured hand.
"Accepted. Now, what do you need to not bite off the heads of the nice people working here?" Hitoshi wants to know, absolutely ready to shelve that feelings talk for now, even though the implications of it make his stomach swoon.
Because Hitoshi damn well knows why he put Katsuki as his own medical proxy and the fact that they are roommates and therefore it's beneficial is nothing more than a convenient lie to hide the stupid, mushy feelings in his chest.
And to think that maybe Katsuki feels the same, has the same stupid, mushy feelings is making Hitoshi’s head spin.
"I just need to go home," Katsuki sighs out, allowing Hitoshi to change the topic. "Can you make that happen?"
"Unless I steal you, unlikely. And I'd rather not get on the bad side of these nice professionals," Hitoshi adds because knowing his luck, that's going to come back and bite him in the ass sooner or later.
Katsuki seems to know it, too, because he huffs out a little laugh, even as his head lolls around and for the first time Hitoshi wonders just what kind of pain medication he's on.
Still, this is not something he can change, but there is one thing he can do for him.
"Want me to bake you your favourite cake?" he offers and he wasn't prepared for the alarm on Katsuki's face at that.
"No! Fuck, shit, I didn't mean to stress you out like that," he rushes out and Hitoshi doesn't quite manage to hide the fond smile on his face.
It's a badly kept secret that Hitoshi is very good at baking. A better kept part of that secret is that he only bakes when he's stressed out of his mind. Not many people know that and Hitoshi can't remember ever explicitly telling Katsuki about that but trust him to catch on to it, anyway.
"I'm not stressed, Kats," Hitoshi tries to reassure him. "I'm good. You're not dying, you're not even seriously injured, so I'm good. I just thought you'd like that, that's all."
And that's really all he meant because Hitoshi knows that Katsuki loves his homemade cake more than anything.
Katsuki stares at him so intently and for so long that Hitoshi feels stripped bare, feels as if Katsuki is peering straight into his soul, but before Hitoshi can start to squirm under that gaze, Katsuki lets out a long breath.
"Fine. Yeah, I'd like that," he then admits and Hitoshi smiles at him.
"Then I'll do that. You'll be good here until I come back?"
"You don't have to. It can wait until I'm home."
It's not the first time either of them refer to the apartment as home because that's what it is, after all, but somehow it hits differently this time.
It makes Hitoshi all warm and tingly.
"Nah, it's no bother. I'll make it now and then I'll drop it off before I start my shift," Hitoshi easily gives back and it's a boldfaced lie.
It's a big, huge bother, because the hospital is absolutely not on his way to his agency at all, and Hitoshi doesn't even have all ingredients at home, which means he has to stop for groceries, too and it's really one big hassle but—
Hitoshi finds that he doesn't mind.
Going by the look on Katsuki's face he damn well knows that it's not as easy as Hitoshi makes it sound but he doesn't protest, takes Hitoshi's words and simply accepts them with nothing more than a grumbled "Thank you" and just for that, Hitoshi leans in close as he gets up, and presses a kiss to Katsuki's forehead, just shy off the new wound there.
"Alright, see you later, then," he says, unwilling to make a big thing out of it, even though his heart is beating away like crazy and it definitely doesn't help when Katsuki goes bright red in the face.
"See you," he mutters weakly and Hitoshi books it out of the room as if it's on fire.
He's made it halfway home when his phone chimes and it doesn't take a genius to know that it's Katsuki messaging him.
Hitoshi gets his phone out and clicks into the message and he can't help the amused laugh he lets out when Katsuki sent him nothing but a stupid meme. It's so on-brand, makes more sense than him bringing any attention to what just happened and that, more than anything, puts Hitoshi's last worry at ease.
He doesn’t know how things are going to develop between them, what's going to change and what not, but with that message he can be certain that it won't be bad at all.
In fact, it will probably be more comfortable than ever before.
(And Hitoshi is right. He brings the cake to the hospital only for Katsuki to be released at that very moment, so Katsuki takes the cake back home, while Hitoshi goes to work. When he comes home, Katsuki greets him with a kiss and a lengthy tirade about his parents and Midoriya fretting and it feels as if they've always done this.)
We did it, guys, gals and pals! This is the end of Comfyvember 2025 and I hope you enjoyed this (mostly) fluffy ride with me! Now get ready for '24 Days of MHA 2025' because who knows what that has in store for us! 💜💜💜
On a yearly basis since Nana’s death, All for One had mailed All Might a card with “Happy Motherless Day” written inside. All for One had been forced to take a brief hiatus during the period of time when All Might have believed him dead. This year, for the first time since his grand reappearance at Kamino, All for One had included a picture of Tomura spitting on Nana’s grave.
-
All for One opened his eyes to gaze up at a giant portrait of All Might. This was very strange, because 1. The only portrait of his archnemesis that he owned had dart holes all over it; and 2. He should be blind. All for One looked around. He recognized Might Tower from the blond buffoon’s publicity photos.
With dawning horror, All for One looked down at his gaunt hands. He tugged on a hair tuft.
He was inside All Might’s body.
“Ew!” All for One screamed.
-
Present Mic laughed. “-As a fearless hero, I braved the terrifying aura of the greatest villain in Japan to request answers. I will play my interview now. All for One, can you explain your change of heart?”
All for One’s voice answered, “I quit villainy. I’m a hero now. Heroes are way cooler.” Izuku could remember saying the exact same words in his dream.
All Might’s voice laughed. “That’s right! You’re my new sidekick. Tell the world that you’re my sidekick.” Mischievousness tinged his voice. “Please, it will be funny.”
Izuku-inside-All for One answered, “Cool, I’ve always wanted to be All Might’s sidekick. This is my childhood dream come true!”
“You heard it straight from his own lips.” All Might laughed malevolently. “Suck it, big brother!”
-
“The nerd is a fake, you fucking Half and Half bastard!” Katsuki head-butted him.
Lying on the ground, maybe-Izuku groaned. “Thank you for the help, young To—uh. Sho-chan?”
Shouto stared. His face turned white, then red. Fire and ice rose off his body. After a moment he said, “He’s a fake.”
Both Shouto and Katsuki tackled the fake Izuku, who screamed, “Aargh! Please be careful with young Midoriya’s spine!”
-
“Get out of here, you damn—” All for One growled.
“Cool, a free body,” Nana said. A brief tingle ran down All for One’s arm. Then the Nomu grinned at him in an infuriatingly familiar way. Nana cried, “I’m going to check up on Tomura,” as she ran off with her new body.

Deku Enchanted by s_the_queen
Just like every other day, Izuku mumbled up a storm and about fifteen minutes later (a drastic increase from the measly three minutes he would have gotten in their first year), Katsuki turned to him and snapped. "Shut the fuck up nerd! I can barely hear myself think!"
And Izuku's jaw practically sealed itself shut. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't open his mouth to speak. Thankfully, he wasn't called on during the lesson, but that didn't mean he hadn't tried to participate. He just couldn't.
—or—
Izuku is hit by an obedience quirk, and he wonders who exactly he wronged in a past life to deserve this much bullshit.
