       she blinks once, twice, three times before it dawns on her someone’s burning figurative holes into her back. she hadn’t done anything that warranted staring, right? at least, she didn’t think so. she just thought dogs were neat! she missed having one. she missed koromaru. plus, canines were the perfect companion! sure the one kotone was currently cuddling isn’t hers, but she seemed friendly enough! all dogs are good; all dogs are friends.

    ❝ i’m not dognapping! i’m just cuddling, i swear, ❞ she finally says, smile innocent as the canine in her arms nuzzles further into her hold. “see! we’re friends.”

dabi knew that his younger brother would be here and it was just a matter of time to meet him again. it felt like a déjà-vu and he could not judge it. he was a villain, he could terrorize him but it was not worth it. despite all the grudge that dabi was carrying, he would not dare hating his brother, who was innocent at best.

he hated his own father, maybe he could talk with shouto about it. why he hated him so much. all the abuse he went through... did shouto even know...?

without any hesitation, he approached the kid. it was not really crowded, but he just hoped that they would talk, that things would go smooth and nothing bad would happen. not even shigaraki or himiko knew about his whereabouts, nor was it even their business.

“todoroki shouto....”, he says, approaching him further, “don’t worry... i won’t attack you. i just want to talk.”
