Hello! Quirrel here!! Something that feels really odd to me is that one of the first things I remember is specifically leaving Hallownest. It's very distant but still.
I'm barely canon divergent and learning about what happens to those who left really felt weird, like was I supposed to know this? Did the Pale King know? How was Hornet able to survive out there while guarding the gate?
It's hard to explain but for anyone who doesn't know most every bug outside of Hallownest had reverted to an almost animalistic state, while those inside before the infection were part of an entire kingdom, and when I had left once I forgot much of my time there before.
