check under the cut to see what kind of junk i’m writing for my 350 class this quarter lmao
first draft of my Bad Poem for class tomorrow (not turning this one in)
She sits on the porch and she waits
And she looks up at the stars and feels smal
lShe doesn’t understand why she feels small
And she understands that things just have to be sometimes
She accepts that she is small and moves on
She sits on the porch and she waits
And she hopes that they’ll come home soon
She’s not sure who she’s waiting for
She just knows that they’re very importantAnd they will come
So she sits on the porch and she waits
Looking up at the starsWaiting for someone very important
And she doesn’t question it
Because sometimes it be like that i don’t fuckin know help me out here“
And sad in a way that’s hard to understand
She doesn’t smile in public like she does when she’s with you
So you do your best to make her happy whenever you can
To make her laugh as naturally as when you’re at home
And it’s like she’s hiding a galaxy that only you get to see
It’s the purest, happiest sound you’ve ever heard
Only you are lucky enough to hold the key to that laugh
You don’t know how you did it
You just know that you never want her to stop
You just want to make her feel that way
In a way that no one really understands
To keep her happy in a way that only you can
(definitely wayyyy more proud of the second one and it has teh added bonus of being really fuckin ga y)
