Anyone else feel like their washing machine sucks at actually getting clothes clean, or am I just fundamentally missing something about how to do laundry, even though I've been doing it for like 25 years at this point?

The worst part about being between jobs is the inability to relax even if I've spent all day applying for jobs but because I don't yet have a job the fucking protestant minister in my head is always like "Writing fanfiction is not an acceptable occupation for idle hands! Apply for more jobs at once lest the devil himself put you to work!" and so then I just bluescreen for several hours instead of doing anything creative.

Also we recently had local elections here in the UK. We didnt have them where I live but some areas had council elections & I despair at seeing how many people voted for Reform. They are over inflating how popular they are & the media is giving so much air time to Farage & doing the same smear tactics they did to Corbyn on Zack Polanski. I’ve seen lately people interviewing Reform supporters just asking why they support Reform and some will talk about Reform policies & say what do you think of ‘xyz’ & they say well I’m against that & then the guy interviewing will be like well thats a Reform policy. In another recent one he went round asking what policies they support outside of immigration & it was just silence from most of the people he interviewed you could see their brains whirring because literally that is the only reason they support Reform. They couldnt name a single other policy & he approached them saying I support Reform this wasnt a hostile approach or anything its sad because its like Boris Johnson all over again he stole historic Red Labour seats because it was a one issue vote. It was a Brexit vote all over again he got in as PM because of Brexit. & then the poorer Labour Red Wall Northern areas which voted on a one issue party found they lost funding in the I think it was called Level up scheme & it was redirected to already rich Tory areas. This is what you get when you vote for a party based on a singular issue not their policies as a whole. It is a bit scary knowing this because we saw how that turned out for Boris & the Tories. I would like to hope we are smarter than that but people are buying into the same smear tactics used on Corbyn. Zack is getting smashed in the news for things that are honestly ridiculous like this latest boat tax issue. Ofc the anti semite smears also because he as a Jewish man does not support Israel and the genocide. People are right that they are trying to erase his Jewishness when they do those interviews how they talk to him, they also are calling him anti semitic whilst also drawing depictions of him with a hook nose so its okay to be anti semitic when its against someone they dont like bit hypocritical, no surprise though.

Having thoughts:

So, Copia becomes Frater Imperator and wants to revive his brothers, since Sister can't say shit. He does so, and they return as ghouls. Primo's element is earth, Secondo's is fire, and Terzo is quint.

Copia doesn't treat them as lesser beings he still sees them as his brothers, just bigger and scarier.

So, a ghoul's way of having fun is to play fight. And I don't mean light hearted wrestling, shoving matches. I mean full on, beating the shit out of each other, throwing each other into walls and furniture. Ghouls have an insanely high pain tolerance to the point, where biting feels more ticklish than painful. Holy objects/water and stabbing are more hurtful and harmful than a mere punch to the face.

One day, Copia's making his rounds, making sure everything is okie dokie, nobody needs help with stuff, duties are being done etc. He's walking down a hall when he hears a pretty loud thud against a wall in a room. Curious, he pokes his head in the door:

Secondo and Terzo are in the midst of a fighting match. Copia watches as Secondo gets thrown against a wall again, and headbutts Terzo.

"You hit like a kid, fratello!"

"... Three seconds to take that back."

Copia knows this is perfectly normal ghoul behavior, he's seen it thousands of times. He's not even concerned when they start laughing manically as they're exchanging blows. He just wishes they'd take it outside, because this will now be the third hole that's gonna have to be fixed, and he's still learning to assert his authority. Maybe Primo can give him some advice...

Thoughts on current romantasy vs...knight moves?

Hoooooooo boy so I have not read much current romantasy unfortunately so I cannot really offer a good juxtaposition. I hear theres a lot of smut! Good for them! To those unaware knight moves is the world's worst best romance novel. I will say that hopefully they use prostrate instead of prostate. Also knight moves will always win in my opinion due to one word and one word alone: queeb. If she ain't queebin dont even bother.
