i want that saader/tazer fic too, but i don’t wanna write it, bb. siiiiiigh. our lives are hard.
YOU KNOW MY FEELINGS. honestly if it were just a matter of getting it done i would grit my teeth and write the damned thing because i want it so much, but i also want it to be GOOD. i want it to be something i can tug out and roll around in every time i miss saad too much.

I also want the gritty long-ass Toews/Saad futurefic. If you want, tell me what you’re looking for and I’ll see what I can do - I’ve been looking for an excuse to write something long, and gifts for ppl give me motivation.

(well, primarily what i would love to see is an exploration of the weirdness of having the relationship between them shift so much - tazer’s no longer saader’s captain, no longer even his teammate, and if they meet again a few years down the line it’ll probably be more as equals than would have been possible if saader had stayed on the hawks forever?
like, saad’s going to grow into a pretty damned good leader in his own right, IMO, and i think it would be super interesting to see all-grown-up!him through tazer’s eyes, to see not-your-captain!tazer through saader’s, to see instinctive reactions - EX: SAADER WAITING FOR TAZER’S CUE TO SPEAK IN JOINT PRESS CONFERENCES I CRY - battling with changed circumstances.

yesss so much yes, i have actually gone through a similar thought process - at least there will be olympics WAIT NO THEY WILL STILL BE ON DIFFERENT TEAMS at least kaner will get to share a locker room with saader again but no more 20-19-81 EVER AGAIN my fucking heart.
(AT LEAST THERE WILL BE ALL-STAR GAMES? is saader likely to get voted in is the question, i guess. maybe we will still get to see 20-19-88?)
