Welp
Being quoisexual/quoix for me is crazy. Besides my confusion, it describes how I disidentify with the concept of sexuality and sexual attraction. Meaning those things aren't relevant to me 93% of the time.
By irrelevant I mean seriously irrelevant. Like, I don't even identify as quoix most of the time. I disidentify with sexuality so much that actively labeling it, even as quoix, makes me uncomfortable.
It's led to a lot of confusion for me. But I've since learned that labels are there for you when you need them, and expressing identity doesn't have to be straightforward. I'm not being insincere when I say 'My sexuality doesn't matter to me, it's complicated, I don't have a label for it (all the time)'. Because that's what being quoisexual is for me. It's a part of me even when I don't say it is. The label is there for me when I need it.
You've heard of aro
You've heard of ace
You've heard of quoiro
Now get ready for quoix
[EDIT: quoix being shorthand for quoisexual]
What exactly does it mean to be quoisexual? I've never heard of it
There are multiple definitions for quoisexuality, but the one I identify with is having no clue what sexual attraction is, let alone whether I feel it or not. You can find the rest of the definitions at @official-quoisexual. The prefix “quoi-” comes from the French word for “what”
