Quoisexual- This micro label can describe people on the asexual spectrum who have trouble distinguishing sexual feelings and knowing whether or not they've experienced such feelings at all, it can also refer to those who are unable to understand or relate to sexual experiences and concepts of sexual attraction.
what does it mean being quoisexual?
saw your intro post now I'm curious
being quoisexual means you don't know if the feeling you experience or sexual or not.
it falls under the asexual umbrella and doesn't mean you're opposed to sex or don't want it (I'm not opposed to sex or anything of the likes, I just don't know if I feel sexual attraction)
Quantumsexual — A New Microlabel
Hello everyone! Today my friend and I are coining a new term: Quantumsexual.Quantumsexual (or Quarsexual): A person whose sexual attraction exists in a superposition. It is simultaneously present and absent until “observed” or placed in a specific real-world context. Trying to analyze, question, or label the attraction often collapses the waveform — sometimes into desire, sometimes into complete indifference, and sometimes into confusion. It’s like Schrödinger’s boner. You literally might not know whether you’re attracted to someone until the moment happens. The attraction feels probabilistic, context-dependent, and weirdly quantum. This label is especially useful for:
Neurodivergent people (ADHD, autism, etc.) whose brains overthink attraction into oblivion
Folks whose desire is highly situational or unpredictable
Anyone tired of attraction labels that feel too rigid
Intracommunity aspec gatekeepers are really annoying to me as a quoisexual person. Everything is always “do you experience [X] attraction?” and my answer is always “I don’t know????” The closest I can get is to say for sure that I’m on both aro and ace spectrums, and since I’m also extremely sex averse and fairly romance-averse I just generally default to “aroace” as the most useful term. But I don’t actually know if I experience sexual/romantic attraction or not, because I’m sure what that even is.
Frankie from Knights of Guinevere is a lesbian, quoisexual, nonbinary, quoiromantic, autistic and schizospec!

Just found out there's a sexuality for those unable to differentiate between different types of attraction and I never felt more understood
if you haven't heard of it, the label is quoisexual
CHAT THESE ARE ME???? I'VE BEEN CALLING MYSELF AROACE BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY BIT THESE ARE LEGIT MECODED?
I'm still gonna call myself AroAce tho because... idfk. I like it more but I guess I'll say I have these guys too
(I identify with "Doesn't know and/or comprehend sexual/romantic attraction and therefore cannot tell if they have experienced it or not" and "one cannot completely or strongly understand sexual attraction/desire".)
Those four sexualities sound good but I'm slightly questioning but that's okay I'll figure it out one day. 👍
