Some of yall have clearly not actually read Lore Olympus considering the takes you have are Lily Orchard style bad takes.
Hades was financially abusive:
His and Minthe's relationship was toxic and abusive from the get-go and it was mostly because of Minthe. SHE was the major abuser, often emotionally abusing Hades (She even physically abused him once). Hades did pay for her apartment, but it's clear most of the time he was spending money on Minthe in order to placate her because, again, toxic dependent relationship. When Hades did break up with her, he wasn't planning on leaving her flailing in the wind. He was going to let her keep the apartment and even transfer her to another building in his company and with better pay.
When it came to Persephone, she kept refusing his money and he respected that boundary. When he took her on a shopping spree it was with her consent.
All the Characters Look the Same:
Did ya'll not catch the part where many of the characters are related to one another in some way? Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades are brothers. Demeter, Hestia, and Hera are all sisters and most of them had kids with each other PLUS Zeus was a serial cheater resulting in several other kids outside his marriage with Hera. Of course they look similar! It's basic genetics that one looks a bit like their parent! BUT they don't actually look the same. If you actually read the story and looked at the art, they all have very distinct characteristics in their appearance.
So far, Hecate, Aphrodite, and Psyche are the only ones not related to one of the Six Traitors in some way.
Again, if you actually read the comic, Persephone is one of the youngest members of the pantheon here. She was going to end up in an age-gap romance no matter what because the dating pool for immortals (as said by Hades) is fucking tiny!
Be happy he wasn't ALSO her uncle like he was in the original myths!
Besides by the time they married, Persephone was in her late 20's to early 30's. In fact I think she was 30.
I swear some of you just look at something and then follow the crowd in saying something is bad.
Did you guys learn from Orchard's school of bad takes?! Because I'm sure a lot of you love the myth itself but just hate Lore Olympus because its trendy to hate on.
There ARE valid critiques to be made like we didn't really get to know Poseidon as much as we did Zeus and Hades and the ending that felt rushed (of course it was running for 10 years at that point, so it's possible that was a result of fatigue from the creator) as well as Kassandra's role in the story/ lack thereof.
