time for some sole 👡 searching. to be honest, im in my pjs probably 75% of the time. 🧖🏼‍♀️ not a single ounce of makeup + a pound of skincare smothered on hoping that aging doesn’t catch up too quick. i look like my freaking grandma 👵🏼 sometimes. I wear my bfs clothes because I hate how tight + conforming woman’s clothing are. no fancy gatherings, parties, or dinners here. just me, my snacks, + forever a netflix binge. 🔌 you see, the dressing up + going out life that you see on here is not my everyday reality. it’s just not. and that is okay y’all! just because IG is within your reach everyday doesn’t mean you’re not important or significant if you don’t always live that “lifestyle”. ⏰ it’s just not the reality of things. despite what you see, I get dressed up once a week with multiple outfits in my bag, shoot ALL my campaigns in one day usually, all on a tripod. by myself. 🙋🏼‍♀️ so don’t ever questions your worth or value because IG says you’re not “good enough”. because you truly are darling and no amount of likes or followers can teach you that. and maybe next time you see a small ass girl hauling around a tripod and some gear, maybe say hello, and ask wtf she’s doing. 🙇🏼‍♀️ maybe she’s on to something. life + sole 👡 of the party. dude, that used to be us. super young, carefree af, drinking late nights, + bouncing back like a baby kangaroo the next. not me, nu uh. no thank you mam. 🙅🏼‍♀️ with the smashing train that is adulthood, im lucky if I can get in bed with my snacks by 10pm. I’m BLESSED if I can do that with all my damn face creams smothered on my face (to slow down gravity’s pull on it. 🤣) but you know what else came with adulthood? (besides these damn back problems?) gratitude. i don’t think ive ever appreciated a cup of tea, a melody that hits you right in the core, 🌿 the feel of a spring breeze, or the warmth of the sun. ever as i do now, as an grown adult. well-I still refuse to vitamins in any form other then gummy so i guess that depends on what your definition of adulthood 😭 is. what are things you did when you were younger 👶🏻 that you still do now?
