Checked the FAQ so sorry if I've missed this...I know maybe a year or so ago, some people were suddenly having a lot of problems with qutieland, with their packages not coming at all, lack of communication, etc., and and I remember some lolita tumblrs were advising to not order from them anymore until these issues were resolved. Do happen to know if qutieland is back to being ok to buy from? Sorry for longish ask -.-;

As far as I can tell Qutieland doesn’t exist anymore. Someone pointed out a few days ago that when we try to go to their website it’s not there. There are better places to purchase TaoBao brands from anyway like Clobba, GlitzyWonderland, or more directly through shopping services like TaoBaoNow (which has always been my personal favorite for things that aren’t available from other retailers.)

Hello! I know that Qutieland had been having a lot of issues for a while, but I decided to check up on them to see what they had on their site-- not to buy, but to look. However, their site seems to just... Not exist anymore. It takes you to a generic site that looks like the domain name was set for sale or they don't own it anymore. I'm not sure if the site is just down or just inactive now, and I was wondering if you knew anything about it?

Oh gosh it looks to me like they’ve finally shut down. It’s really unfortunate that they went downhill so dramatically and I really feel bad for anyone who was screwed over by them in the end but at least now it won’t happen to anyone else.

Do you know if Qutieland is back to normal? It seemed like a lot of people were having problems with it a while ago, and I wanted to know if it's safe to order from.

I would definitely still avoid buying from them as I have not heard any positive news about them since they started all this sketchy business. Clobba and Glitzy Wonderland are both good alternatives.

What do you think even happened to QtLand? They used to be such a reliable website, what changed?

I honestly have no idea. I’ve been trying to figure out what could have happened to them for months.

So my qutieland order has been dormant for 7 months, and no one cared to reply despite my attack of emails.... Should I file a report with my bank to get my money back? Are there some other ways to get our lost money back? Qutieland is being extremely scammy atm... I really want them to know that it's unacceptable..

I would definitely see if you can talk to your bank about it. I know within a certain amount of time Paypal can do something but I think seven months might be past the time limit.I’ve definitely sent Qutieland messages through email as well as Facebook telling them how deplorable their service has been and I haven’t heard anything either. It’s like they just gave up on running the shop and never bothered to delete the website.

Just wanted to share that qutieland apparently doesn't care about orders anymore. I ordered something weeks ago, never got an invoice even after sending multiple emails. Their facebook hasn't been touched in months it seems. No one seems to care. At least i never gave them money! I think people should stear clear.

Yeah I’ve been trying for a little while to get people to stay away from them. For years they were really great and always super responsive but over the last year or so they have been refusing to respond to emails, including the ones I have sent them saying that I have a lot of followers who want to know what’s up. If you do eventually get an invoice I would suggest not paying it and just cancel the order at that point because they have been really unreliable.

I'm trying to follow up an order I made with Qutieland last August... do you know if anyone has gotten any word from them lately? According to them the order is with them and they just need the address as per December of last year but due to some very difficult life situations I couldn't give an address til yesterday. I messaged Billy on Facebook and he just sorta seenzoned me lmao;; Customer service is famously bad atm so I'd just like to know the last time someone heard from them... Thank you.

I have heard of people finally receiving their orders after a pretty long time since I initially took notice of their issues but I haven’t really heard of anyone being in real contact with them. The good news is you know he saw your message, so what I would do is just message him a few times a week until you get a response. Unfortunately there isn’t much more that I can recommend. I’ve tried contacting them myself to ask what’s been up with their customer service and haven’t heard any replies.
