Do you have any sites you recommend for plus sized coords? I saw you recommended Clobba, but I don't want to get my hopes up for a site I can't buy from

Clobba is actually one good option because some of the brands they carry offer custom sizing so you can be certain what you’re buying will be made to fit your measurements. It can be a bit of a pain though because not every brand they carry offers custom sizing, but many of them do at least offer a range of sizes so depending on your measurements you might be able to fit more than you think.There are quite a few indie brands around now that offer a range of sizes and custom options. I would recommend taking a look at my plus size tag for more options.

Hello! I was shopping around and found a blouse I ordered on Glitzy Wonderland on Clobba. The same blouse was $10 cheaper on Clobba than GW; however, Clobba's listed sizes are different than GW's by 20cm. I thought both were resellers; shouldn't the sizes be the same? If so, do you think it would be alright to order the same blouse from Clobba to save money, or would you recommend I stick to the listed sizes?

It is weird that the sizes would be listed differently. I would suggest finding the blouse on the original TaoBao shop’s page and seeing if they have measurements listed that you can go by. I noticed that some of Clobba’s pieces will have the given measurement and then their recommended size the wearer be for it to be most comfortable so that could potentially be what the difference is.Also, keep in mind that GW’s prices already have the shipping included (which is how they’re able to offer “free” shipping.) Clobba’s listed price might be cheaper but it could be around the same or more after you add shipping.

Do you know if Qutieland is back to normal? It seemed like a lot of people were having problems with it a while ago, and I wanted to know if it's safe to order from.

I would definitely still avoid buying from them as I have not heard any positive news about them since they started all this sketchy business. Clobba and Glitzy Wonderland are both good alternatives.

Hello, I was wondering if My Lolita Dress was a good website to buy from? I'm Canadian and so I have limited options...

They’re just another TaoBao reseller like Clobba or Glitzy Wonderland but I hear that their customer service is hit or miss. I also personally don’t like them because they stole my words and as someone who’s planning to make a career as a writer it makes me really bitter and want to avoid them at all costs. (But of course that’s just my bias and you can ignore me being salty about it.)It’s also worth looking at other resellers to compare prices. I found a few items on Glitzy Wonderland that were priced the same as they are on My Lolita Dress BUT Glitzy offers free shipping (which usually means their items are more expensive but not in this particular case.)

Glitzy Wonderland vs TaobaoNow vs Clobba? Or other? I know you said TaobaoNow is your favorite but there's something about the aesthetic of the Glitzy Wonderland site (plus the free shipping!) that makes it appealing...

It depends. I usually only use TaoBaoNow when the thing I want isn’t available anywhere else. They’re really easy to work with but it’s a few extra steps and sometimes I’m feeling a little lazy. I do like Glitzy Wonderland because their shipping is “free” so that take the guess work out of it but keep in mind that things might be cheaper somewhere else even after shipping is added. Their shipping isn’t actually free, they just included it in the price already to save you a step. Glitzy Wonderland is usually where I go when someone asks me a question relating to budget just because I don’t have to figure out shipping to where they live. Glitzy Wonderland does stock items that are a bit on the sketchy side though that don’t tell you where they come from so you can’t really find reviews for everything. Clobba is a shop that I’ve always known to be reliable and now that they have a new website ordering from them is super easy.Basically, they’re all good it just depends on what you’re looking for and whether or not you want to put the effort into deciding which method will actually save you money.

do you know how long it takes for clobba to ship? i orderd a Classical Puppets A-line petti about three weeks ago and im starting to get abit inpatient.

It doesn’t always depend on Clobba because they aren’t making the product, it depends on the TaoBao shop. From my experience and reviews I’ve seen it tends to take CP 1-3 weeks to ship something (potentially more if it’s custom sized) and then it has to get to Clobba before they can send it to you so it’s reasonable that it wouldn’t have made it to you yet.
