there’s always been something else within him. when he was younger he always thought that other side was a hero of some sort. a smart, intelligent hero who could do no wrong. in a way, he still feels this. after all, a villain never thinks they are one. he’s just trying to change the world, to prove that he’s just as important as anyone else. after being knocked down day after day for his weak muscles, his nerdy glasses, his slightly crooked row of bottom teeth, he’s over it. but he cannot find the confidence to be in the spotlight. or rather, edward nygma can’t. but this other side, this hero in the darkness, he can.
work becomes nothing compared to the work he is doing. killing makes him feel alive, the adrenaline shoots through him. he’s called out sick the last two days, has abandoned his home; but doing these things costs him since he has a guest. her name is kristen kringle, a beautiful woman with hair the colour of fire & eyes that remind him of emeralds. edward loves her, in a sense, after all he’s protected her ever since that dreadful night where they ridded the world of tom dougherty. but there’s no time for a team effort here, she’ll just get in his way.
he’s forced home after a while, completely hopped up on taking down a few lowly criminals with files he’s found at work. as soon as he enters the house, he hears a shuffling noise & immediately a gun is flicked out of his pocket into the air toward the noise. it takes him a moment to realise it’s the woman whom he needs to soon get rid of before edward falls for her any further. a grin pulls at his mouth as he sets the safety off on the gun even after the recognition. ❛ do you not know when you are unwanted ? ❜
