"I'm not proud of the person they've turned me into. But it's all I know. And it's too late for me to change now." / from jinx

Vi doesn't answer at first, just lets the sweet taste of the fruit linger on her tongue for longer than usual. Besides, fruits like this didn't usually grow in Zaun, she might as well savor it while she can, no telling when she would get the chance again. But the question was important, even if she didn't have an answer she still needs to say something. Lowering the fruit, she finally glances at Jinx, an uncertain look on her face.
"I dunno," this was off to a great start. "You already seem to be doing much better than when we last... met." I think we were all at our worst then." At their absolute worst." She would say they were all at their absolute worst there, but Vi isn't sure she's even reached her rock bottom just yet. She doesn't want to know what that bottom even looks like.
"Maybe we can all change." Seeing the way the flowers were blooming and this once decrepit part of the city was teeming with life, a sense of calm, even as strange and unnatural as it seemed. Maybe things could change, maybe they could turn around. Maybe they could just leave this place with everything that troubled them. "Or just leave this place with dad."
