The drifting specks of light, Sooth the darkness in my heart. Enough to forget my nightmares.

I picked up R-Type Final as it’s a Shump I’ve never encountered before and phew this series ended up being the dive. It’s the small haunting notes at the start of Final that always got me.  I never expected to cry at a shooter.

R-Type Final 3 Evolved will launch for PlayStation 5 on April 25 in North America and April 28 in Europe, publisher NIS America announced.

In Japan, R-Type Final 3 Evolved will launch on March 23.

R-Type Final 3 Evolved debut trailer.

Granzella will release an R-Type Final 2 demo for PlayStation 4 and Switch on April 1 in Japan, the company announced during its latest “Granzella Meeting” live stream.

Details regarding the demo’s release on other platforms will be announced at a later date.

R-Type Final 2 is due out for Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store on April 29 in Japan and April 30 in North America and Europe.
