R-Type Final 3 Evolved will launch for PlayStation 5 on April 25 in North America and April 28 in Europe, publisher NIS America announced.
In Japan, R-Type Final 3 Evolved will launch on March 23.

R-Type Final 3 Evolved debut trailer.
NIS America will publish R-Type Final 3 Evolved in the west for PlayStation 5 when it launches in spring 2023, the company announced. It will support English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese text options.
A Special Edition is currently available for pre-order via NIS America Online Store for $69.99, which includes a copy of the game, “Starfighter two-disc” soundtrack, and R-9A Arrowhead key chain light. A Deluxe Edition will also be available, which includes a copy of the game, “Discovery” one-disc soundtrack, and “The Artwork of R-Type Final 3 Evolved” softcover art book.

Granzella has announced R-Type Final 3 Evolved for PlayStation 5, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals. It will launch in March 2023.
R-Type Final 3 Evolved is based on R-Type Final 2, and features improved visuals, over 100 playable ships, seven exclusive new stages, PlayStation VR2 support for takeoff scenes, metaverse spaces for online multiplayer lobbies, and mini-games.
