Kill Me
♚ drabble list @eulvs, @krisanthemvm ↳ Kill Me: I’ll write a drabble about my character killing yours.
“It’s like a whirlpool.” The man who crouched down with his back against the tree mumbled while his friend hiding between the thick branches listened silently. “The more you fight it, the faster you drown, but not fighting it doesn’t change your fate.”
reunite me.
♚ drabble list ↳ Reunite Me: I’ll write a drabble of our characters reuniting together.
We’ve all had to leave some things, people, memories behind despite the pain the departure brought along with it, and our desire to keep those parts of our life unchanged. The traces of some departures fade away with time, adding value to the saying “time heals everything”, but other departures remain painful as ever, fresh as the firstmoment it happened, reminding us of what mattered the most, and what we valuedone day.
mourn me.
♚ drabble list ↳ Mourn Me: I’ll write a drabble about my character mourning your character’s death.
From day to day, the word impossible is thrown at any activities that seem too difficult, but the word is rarely used for its actual meaning. Today it was.
The scene when he was pulled away from his car after leaving work and forced into another by few words played in front of him as he dragged his feet through the entrance of the grand building.
Impossible!
An immortal’s death.. what type of mockery was this? Minwoo’s brain was rejecting everything it heard and saw, it defied all the laws of immortality, not that defying death wasn’t strange to begin with.
There was her body; presented to all to worship her beauty one more time, one that put Aphrodite to shame. It laid peacefully among lilies, jasmines, and lavender.
A joke! It must be. She told him countless times she can’t die, she lived since the creation of humans, and complained about how boring and lonely it is to live that long---did she find a way and kept it a secret?
“Noh Minwoo.” The lieutenant’s train of thoughts was interrupted by the deep voice of the most good looking man in the hall; Solara’s father. “Thank you for making it.” The painful handshake and look reflected in his eyes almost forced a cry from Minwoo’s pained heart, but the sound in his head got louder just in time, reminding him that her death is impossible. It must be all an act that she’s willingly partaking in for a reason or another. Minwoo lowered his head slightly out of respect to the older man who did the same to the man who kept his daughter’s company, and painted smiles on her face every time she lost a reason to draw them herself.
Minwoo glanced at the still body again. He couldn’t leave even if he believed she was alive. His feet moved slowly towards the coffin. He held her cold hand. “Why?” He whispered to the woman he believed could hear him. There were too many sides to her life he wasn’t aware of, he didn’t know who were her enemies, and who could potentially harm her. If this was an act he had to partake in then he was going to play his role well. Minwoo lowered his head to place a kiss to her forehead. “Either take me with you or come back.”
Although he strongly believed she was alive, a part of him considered the possibility of her death, and his words reflected his true thoughts about a life without his immortal friend and lover.
Minwoo straightened his posture and turned his back to the coffin to walk out of the building, and it was only then that his heart started crumbling. One piece at a time with every step he took. She can’t be dead. She couldn’t have left him behind. She was supposed to be the one person to stay...
Tears were soon clouding his vision.

Worried eyes were fixated on the ceiling of the room as the chandlier moved and the old light bulbs left their positions for the new ones to take their rightful place. It wasn’t an every day sight, and even if he saw it every day, Minwoo was sure he wouldn’t get used to being surrounded by magic all the time.
“See. It wasn’t as scary as you thought it would be now, am I mistaken?”
It was a rhetoric question, Minwoo knew that well and he did not need to see the look on her face or on her assistant’s face to know they were both mocking him. The lieutenant rolled his eyes at both of them and picked the hammer and a few nails from the tools box to finish putting together the table they bought. “You did not have to buy that, you know.”
He sighed and looked at her. “I can’t live in a place where everything is made by magic. I’m not a dedicated believer.” He started hammering a nail in the wood surface then stopped briefly to add. “Not to mention that none of your shenanigans is allowed when we have our child.”
Her assistant threw his arms in the air and turned to leave the room, mumbling something about how the two knew nothing about boundaries. Minwoo did not pay him attention, but he surely noticed the smile she tried to hide. He leaned in quickly and pressed a soft kiss to the corner of her lips. To him, none of her magic could compare to how magical she was to him.
"Marry me?”

[ Some time in the future, The Palace of Surya ]
Though the past couple of months have been the happiest in her life, Hikari knows that it is impossible for it to remain as such. She does not complain nor does she question it; in a way, she is already desensitized to the pains of what fate has in store for her. There will be no tears, she promises herself as she looks at the love of her life with goodbye already written in her eyes.

Hikari thinks that perhaps this is the single most embarrassing moment of her life. The audience gathered around them are all howling and cat calling and in any other situation this would have been perfectly acceptable had it done been the two of them in the center of all the attention. She stands in the middle of the basketball court blushing from head to toe but she is not sure whether it’s because of everyone’s eyes on her or his eyes on her.

At first she thinks that maybe the words he speaks are a part of a cruel dream. How can this be reality when she knows for so long now that his heart belongs to someone else and her love, for just as long, had been unrequited? Had she been obvious in her actions around him and thus has lead him to find out about her feelings himself?
