SWEDEN! My right to vote was revoked earlier this year(!!!!) when Sweden decided to (without notice) fully de-register me as a citizen. As a Swede currently living abroad I should still be able to cast my vote and the fact that the country is littered with people about to vote for an openly racist party, means that my vote matters more than ever. We are at a serious risk of having a political party that wants to REDUCE women’s rights, remove equal parental leave, make abortion (that’s been legal in Sweden since 1938) rights limited, is openly against LGBTQ rights, thinks that Muslims are the “greatest threat to our nation”, and want to close our borders to people fleeing war and famine take over our government and it is beyond terrifying.
