Where to ask questions about voting
- The election is on September 9th, early voting is open from now until the day of the election. New this year is that you can vote early on the day of the election
- Everyone who has turned 18 on the day of the election earlier and are Swedish citizens are authorized to vote for Regering, landsting and kommun. If you are registered in a swedish city/kommun and have lived here more than a year, but does not have a citizenship, you should be elidgeble to vote for kommun and landsting (You can check if you can vote here )
- The voting card should have arrived in the mail on august 22nd at the latest.
- If you loose your voting card or it didn't arrive as expected, you can get a new one here or at your closest early voting location.
- Vote cards are manadatory for early voting, but regular voting on September 9th you can do with the help of a passport or approved ID
- Check the quick links on the top of this post for more information.
