HUBERT TO TAKE CARE OF R-100 The photographs here show buildings and equipment at the government airport at St. Hubert, near Montreal, where the giant British dirigible R-100 will be moored and care for upon its forthcoming visit. (1). Electric controls on passenger and control platform of mooring tower by which mooring cable will be paid out. The two operators shown in the picture are men sent out specially from England to take charge of the landing machinery at St. Hubert. (2) Covered pivotal cone to which the R-100 will be anchored; the photograph was taken from the control gallery of the tower. (3) Mooring tower, 210 feet high, to which the R-100 will hit up when she reached St. Hubert. Inside the central cone are carried the water, gas, and electric mains right to the top. (4) Manufacture of gas for R-100 will take place right at the airport and finishing touches are now being out to the gasometer shown here. (5) Hangars and (6) new administration building that has been built at the government airport at St. Hubert.
