“Jaehyun! Over here, over here!” The two high school students are erupting into heavy breathing, their matching uniforms blurring together as she manages to run ahead of the long legged male and towards the back where the rows of bushes were located.”He went over here!” Between their strolling around the large campus of their school, a blur or a stray dog ran off through the bushes as the two friend spotted it and went on a hot pursuit to go after it. “In these bushes Jaehyun -” Reaching the bush, she has to put herself on a harsh brake; reaching the area much quicker than she intended and causing Jaehyun to collide against her. The collision doesn’t end at just that as the two fall forward; directly on top of the bush and instantly she feels her body stiffens because a sharp pain that hits her body in different direction. “….AHH! Thorns! Thorns! Hnngg!”
He just takes large strides to follow after her and catch up, easy to do thanks to his long legs. Suzy had been all too enthusiastic, even though they weren’t even sure exactly what it was they say. “A dog!” She had insisted and he had given in, not really one to argue. Her excitement had rubbed off on him anyway, and like her, his eyes dart around the area in search of the mysterious stray. When she picks up her jog, he finally picks up his pace, running as well--apparently not a very good idea as he has trouble putting the brakes on when she suddenly stops.
“Oomf!” He grunts in reaction, instinctively reaching out to try and steady Suzy, only to end up losing his balance along with her. “Ow! Fu--!” The curse word slides easily off his tongue, feeling the thorns prick his behind even through his school pants. “Ugh,” he groans, trying to pull himself up, but with some difficulty.
