Sometimes I just think back to last year’s Celebration and how happy and nervous and proud the entire R1 cast looked when they came onstage at the panel and the audience went wild (they weren’t scheduled to appear, just Kathy and Gareth etc.).

And then Ben Mendelsohn just swaggered in dressed as Krennic and flanked by a bunch of Death Troopers and proceeded to flirt saucily with Gwendoline Christie.

Good times.

me: "ehh awards shows have gotten tiring and I don't care what films I like get awards anymore, probably gonna skip the golden globes."

golden globes: "Diego Luna announced as one of the award presenters."

me: "wow that golden globes huh real excited to watch that, looking forward to that alright!"

I was really looking for someone who had something else to offer rather than the default, “this is what a leading guy is”, you know, in terms of cliche, especially in tough action roles.  I’m not a fan of heroes that stand in the corner and just brood and that makes them cool. And Diego gets high score for likeability. You just want to be his mate the second you see him. - Gareth Edwards about Diego Luna
