this Friday we open our 42nd Valley Visual Art Show @carbondalearts hosting 50 artists local to the #roaringforkvalley (and beyond...artists must reside in an 816 zip code). it’s my 7th time organizing and installing this group show and may be one of my favorite things to do for our community. just getting to create an opportunity like this (esp this year) feels like it makes a positive impact in so many ways and makes me proud. . . . just FYI, the #r2gallery is open late til 7pm on Friday and then weekdays 10-5. we only allow up to 8 visitors at a time, and if you can’t come in person we’ll have a 360° virtual tour and all the work for sale online. it’s a great way to support local emerging and established artists...you can also vote for your favorite artwork! and thanks to @pinestreetprintsco for letting me use your monoprint as the show postcard! 🥰 #carbondalearts #carbondalecreativedistrict #carbondaleco #valleyvisualartshow #localartists #coloradoartists #supportlocal (at R2 Gallery) https://www.instagram.com/p/CKQV8PgFQkM/?igshid=1cstdxujn5map

holy moly, it’s the LAST DAY of my solo show @carbondalearts “Self-Reflected Universe”! Thanks to all of you who have visited in person or taken the virtual tour (see link in my bio to the exhibition page for the tour and the online shop). It’s been a great 4 weeks!! I also want to send a special shoutout to @sawstudio for being the show sponsor! SAW is a community of 20+ artists (I’ve had a studio there for nearly 7 years now!) and it’s wonderful to have a place like this in Carbondale for working artists...I even hear there is an available studio right now! Please contact us by January 7 to reserve a space for your collection. We'll do our best to ensure that your LEGOS stay together. Open to children & adults of all ages!
