RENO 5000 running events began in 2010. RENO 5000 stands for 5,000 meters or 3.1 miles. When we first began producing running events we focused on 5k runs. The series originally had seven 5k races. For the past six years we have been focused on directing events in the Reno area. When we first started, RENO 5000 Turkey Trot, 2010 we did 3 events in 2010.
