*waves* Hello! Sorry to bother you again- I'm using your robonoidz 2.3 theme and I absolutely adore it, but I'm a little stuck. I'm trying to put music on my page using the SCM player and I don't know where to put the code. I've tried putting it directly after
, directly before , at the very top of the code, and anywhere else I can think up. Nothing's working. Suggestions? Happy Holidays!
Hm, could you be more specific by “Nothing’s working”? I just tried it out myself, and inserting the code in either place seems to work - it doesn’t look like the music player appears on the customization screen no matter what, but it should display properly on the blog itself. Is the player failing to load on the blog page? If it does appear, will the music play?

Oh hello again! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! In regards to the situation about the music player- I've tried both spots (again, after you said you got it to work) and neither spot will bring up the music player on the blog. I've tried both spots (and anywhere else) I can think of, saving the edits then exiting out, reentering, and seeing if it works. Nothing shows up, nothing plays, and nothing denotes that the code is even being accepted (save for the fact it's not appearing in red)
That’s… odd. :T Would you be willing to submit your theme’s code as-is to me via pastebin link? It won’t be published of course - I’ll mess around with it and IM you with further details.

UPDATE: The issue was unrelated to the code; enabling SSL on your blog prevents the SCM player from appearing.

Could you nail them? I think I saw something where you take the heal off of a pair of high heels and then nail the hooves to the top portion of the shoe, then sanding/papermacheying/ what-have-you them to fit smoothly from one surface to the next.
Sadly not at all feasible with this build. The hooves are soft foam rubber, not hard surfaces that would nail well. And while the heel-less shoes design is pretty cool, it would not be even slightly safe for LARP, which is what I’m using these hooves for. I need to be able to tromp around the woods and sword-fight in these shoes. That, and my complete inability to wear heels to start with.
Honestly it doesn’t even have to be smooth, since I have fur cuffs I’ll we be wearing to help disguise it a bit. And a long skirt. But I need the hooves on my shoes. That’s necessary. RN I’m thinking gorilla glue? Idk though.
Either way I’m gonna be giving up my favourite boots for this, and it wounds me lol.

Hey, if you packed them, then they’re somewhere they need to be. Obviously, you didn’t throw them out, and you didn’t put them someplace where they would be in harms way. Give yourself a chance to breathe, think about the last time you saw them and what you were doing, and go through the steps of action around that time. You will find them.

i make tongue in cheek jokes about the arsonist being an exaggerated outlet for my frustration with my own memory a lot but you gotta understand: the last time i remember interacting with any of the objects i’m looking for was probably three weeks ago, and right now i couldn’t actually say, with even 90% confidence, the exact spot in my room that interaction occurred. clearly i HAVE interacted with them since! i have no reason to think anyone came into my room and took my games. i’ve been getting ready to move. i have every reason to believe i just
picked them up and put them somewhere. which means i did that and then instantly forgot about it.
i’ve dug through every packed box in my room several times now and am about to go do it again (because i know i JUST looked at this box but what if i looked at it wrong or what if i saw it and didn’t register it? id better go look at it a fourth time. maybe it will magically appear)
there are large chunks of high school i just can’t remember, i’ve had to turn it into a joke with the friends that have known me for years , i’ve had to say very plainly to close friends that i just cannot remember something we did together a few years ago. and i’m sure from the outside me flipping out over not being able to remember where i put my stupid collection of video games looks silly, but it’s not one reaction to one situation, not really. it’s every other goddamn memory of losing things that i need or fabricating memories because i think that i SHOULD have them and of disappointing other people
and if i can’t find my pokemon games and i lose the entire collection of pokemon i’ve been cultivating for nigh-on twenty years i will very genuinely flip my absolute shit
Terribly sorry to bother you- I love your Peridot theme, but I can't seem to get the original colour of the boxes to change (there's the colour that it is when you don't touch it, then there's the colour it turns into when you hover over it). I've fiddled with just about everything I know and can't figure out what's going on. Could you maybe nudge me in the right direction please? Much thanks!
You’re not bothering me at all~ The values you’ll want to change for the non-hovered post background are R, G, and B towards the bottom of the customization menu. Using the hex code of the desired color, you can determine its Red/Green/Blue values on this website. Hope this helps!
Hey-saw you were sick but didn't see a post about the symptoms. I might be able to help? I know it's a throat thing and that you feel sore. Are you having problems swallowing? Do you also have a runny nose?
Thanks! No problems swallowing (at least not yet?), and my nose is as clear as it ever is this time of year. The main symptoms are a soreness along the back of my throat (I’d assume it was from post-nasal drip because it’s a similar soreness, but again, I’m actually pretty light on mucous right now.), a pain in a gland or lymph node or something close to the back end of the underside of my jaw (right side). The pain leaves the area tender to the touch, and is making my neck ache, as well as my ear.
In the past hour I’ve noticed joint pains, but those might be unrelated. That might just be hormones, because I’m close to when I would get my period, but I’ve been taking my birth control without the sugar pills to eliminate my period, so it might just be my body not liking me, since I have PCOS.
