My rabbits are fully potty trained and I decided it was time to just make the pen cute and use a rug instead of the foam mats I had before

I was very excited also because Nima has taken to chewing the foam but generally won't chew a rug so this should last?? Hopefully?

as promised, here is the bunnies’ set up!!

this pen is in my bedroom but i let them free roam my room and the living room of my house for most of the day. i’m so happy to say that the bonding process has been going very well, and they only have a few skirmishes here and there.

dela has definitely changed and is practically a new rabbit since i got her. she is much more open and curious, and she’s played, done binkies, and flopped a lot. lina is still getting used to her, but she has always been a sweet girl.

if you have any tips or suggestions for me, please let me know!

lina (3 1/2 months) is currently eating green leaf lettuce and parsley, with freeze dried bananas for treats, along with pellets and timothy&orchard grass hay. dela (6-10 weeks) is eating the same pellets and hay.

Took some better photos of the new hutch in daylight, after doing some more adjustments... like putting his name-sign on. (I also repainted it as it was getting pretty worn out).

The lower floor. His largest litter box (which is really the floor of a hamstercage) was too big to fit through the door so he only has a tiny kitten box for now... I bought a new one but I haven’t put it in yet.

I also put up some lights.  Mostly for my sake as where the cage currently stands it gets pitch black at night as its in the shade of the outdoor lamp.

The black box hanging on the hutch proper is the battery for said light.

Here’s where I cut a hole in the wire so Jason can go in and out as he pleases.

Indoor Rabbit Ramblings

Hi guys! Long time no see!

We're settled in here in Colorado, and while the buns are happy with their outdoor grazing pen, I'm exploring options for an indoor run as well.

There is about a 50 square foot rectangular area in an unfinished utility room that is available to us, so I'm looking for some inspiration.

If you guys could send me your favorite indoor rabbit runs, I'd love to see them! I'm also trying to find a suitable material to serve as a guard for the unfinished walls (sheet plastic? Decorative wall panels?) around the perimeter of the enclosure. Must be easy to clean and I'd prefer it to look nice.
