TT: Well I didn't expect to see you today. Then again I don't expect to see anyone yet I do anyway.
TT: None the less, Merry Christmas.

Manhattan is an easy city to get lost in, really. Especially if one doesn't know their way around. The buildings stretch far into the sky, the streets are crowded with floods and floods of pedestrians, and in the big city everyone's in a hurry to get somewhere. Currently, Dani is said person in a hurry to get somewhere - namely the coffee shop right off of Main and 42nd street. She's so ready for coffee that she can feel it in her veins. Really, with her sleep schedule, coffee is a horrible, craving need at this point. Getting off at three am and then having a meeting with a potential employer at eight the next morning does not make for a healthy number of sleep hours.
Caffeine, her sweet lover.
The shop is hopping as always, and the line for the cashier is clear out the door and wrapping around the outside. She checks her watch. 6:15. She's got time. Dani slides into line, leaning up against the wall to rest her weary bones. A little boy, maybe a preteen if she squinted her eyes enough, is sitting on the curb, chin propped up beneath his hands. She raises her eyebrows. What's a kid like that doing here? It's cold, and early, and it's also not exactly a school day. Should she ask where his parents are? What if they're just inside? But then again who leaves their kid outside while they go get coffee?
Dani just stares at his back, deliberating silently what to do. She's curious, and honestly doesn't want to just leave a kid sitting there who could potentially be lost.
