Posted @withregram • @ultrajakejackson “True champions aren't always the ones that win, but those with the most guts.” —Mia Hamm • Finished the USATF 100 Mile Road Championship at the Jackpot Ultra Running Festival last night 2nd OA in 13:33.01 and while I didn’t hit my “A” goal time I feel like, for the first time, I left it all out there. I proved to myself that I do have the courage to not just settle and tell myself “that’s good enough”. I’ll go into greater detail when I get a blog up but this was a hard fought finish time for me and I’m extremely happy for the guts and perseverance I showed myself I had 💪🏻 • Thanks you to the race directors @rubeliken @stephkundin812 and @lcslee73 for putting on a great race. You put a lot into the race and we all appreciate it greatly. Big thanks to Pippa McHugh for crewing Dan and I. So great getting to see them again. Thank you to @patrickreaganrunning for believing in me and putting together a great training plan to get me preparer. It going to be a great 2020 working with you my friend👍🏻 Of course the biggest thank you goes out to my wife @inkedrunnermissy and my kiddos for keeping me grounded and also allowing me to chase these big goals I have.
