Istarnië of the people of Bór, she who would later be called Tar-Meldatári, was the first Queen of Númenorë, and in her youth, a valiant warrior and follower of Maedhros and Maglor (for though the histories little like to speak of them, mortals still followed the two brothers even after the Third Kinslaying).
The people of Númenorë speak of Tar-Meldatári with great love even to this day, for it was she, along with Tar-Minyatur, who played a great part in the ordering of the land and the creation of our nation.

(Freida Pinto as my OFC. Also, I have no idea whether this is actually appropriate for Race of Men Week, but what the hell.)
