17. Tell me about one of your TTRPG Player Characters. Or, if you don’t play, tell me about an idea you have for one.

:))) Wheeeeee. My icon is my life cleric Mairen. I have been playing her for almost six full years, starting from level 1. We're now level 17! She's got a complex about being responsible for other people's health and well-being, which started somewhere around "I hate this and do not want to do it," cycled through "it's meaningful to be able to help, but this is an unfair weight on my shoulders," and has landed finally on the realization that the weight is a lot more shared than she thinks it is. She is impatient and usually frustrated and practical and the youngest of six children (rookie mistake. so many names to memorize) and her stats are godawful (rookie mistake. survival and medicine and animal handling are NOT a good set of proficiencies.) Her party is her, a rich boy rogue who was undead-ish for a while, and an endlessly congenial tiefling barblock. This is the vibe:

11. What is your number 1 hope for campaign 4?

No, but like, it would be amazing if we could set aside the incredibly stupid faction wars and just all either a) enjoy the thing or b) have our own opinions about the thing without casting aspersions on or acting morally and intellectually superior towards other fans. Hey, a girl can dream.

19. What are you most excited for heading into a new campaign?

I just absolutely fucking love the feeling of watching a new cast of characters get to know each other as we get to know them. Watching relationships form. Early bonding attempts like WTFIUWT and early conflicts like Bowlgate and early chaos like the hospital heist in C2 or the museum heist in C3. And because I feel like D&D characters change and grow as they come to life, I'm so, so, so excited to watch the cast discover who these new people they've created are, too.
