I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s always sad when a beloved animal dies.

Yeah. I mean he wasn't my cat, and I've only seen him a few times since I don't often go visit my dad at home (don't get along great with his wife and we see each other at the office every day anyway). But he always told me almost every morning how little (huge) Freddy was lying on his legs and he couldn't move because Freddy was sleeping there so cutely, or how he walks in through the cat flap in the morning and comes upstairs into the bathroom and wants to be petted and throws himself onto his back and wants his belly tickled. 

Just honestly completely breaks my heart because I've got three kitties of my own, and thinking about losing any of them... yeah, not going there.

I know exactly how you feel. The best advice that I can give is to surround yourself with much positivity as possible and avoid the places that make you feel unhappy.

Thank you, love. See it's people like you who make me want to stick around. I'm going to follow your advice and cut off as much anxiety inducing places/people as possible. Even if I have to be ruthless, sometimes you've just got to do it for your own good. Thank you <3
