In the Collegian Opinions column today, there is an article about how affirmative action gives impoverished people of color the "upper-hand" in college admissions. I get that this is this guys opinion, but he is completely neglecting history in his assessment. Frankly, he put me in a bad mood. And while I do want to rant about just how ridiculous that claim truly is, alas I have papers to write. But seriously, smh.
