Sino’s family had traveled far from the main capital of the kingdom where they typically resided. ‘A vacation’ they had said, but it certainly didn’t feel like one. When they were out and about she wasn’t permitted to travel more than a few feet from them before she got a chastising, and once they decided to retire to the inn she was immediately shut in her room. It was suffocating. So of course tonight, with the sky clear, she had decided to sneak out to finally wonder the village on her own.
For a time the elven noble wandered the streets, but they were mostly deserted at this time, save a few other wanderers among the dim street lanterns. Oh well, she could at least take a small walk through the nature outside of town, right? She was only able to walk through gardens back home, and that was never the same. The moon was full and bright so she shouldn’t have too many problems navigating anyway.
It didn’t take very long for Sino to wander off of the marked pathways once beyond the village walls, and off into the forest she went, holding her gown up above the grass with her hands. She mostly walked about at a leisurely pace, pausing to look at some flowers or a cute critter now and again. It was enjoyable, but she hadn’t really come across much of note. That was, until she began to notice the trees thinning out.
Eventually the girl steps into a clearing and found herself faced with the sight of the moon glittering on the surface of a small lake. Did the people of the town even know this little place existed? Looking around the ground she suddenly noticed some very people like clothing. Clothes that looked similar to those worn about town, a single pair of shoes and... bindings? Her gaze quickly snapped to that of the lake, and the obvious was confirmed; Someone else was there in the water, and she was intruding on a personal outing. Quickly as her feet could take her, she hurried over behind a tree, hoping that maybe, somehow, she hadn’t been noticed.
