Permaset Experiment (More Ink 4 My Buck) .. Over the weekend I discovered that my last bottle of #Permaset glow red super cover (my favorite color) had gone moldy and a little dry. And because i'm a starving artist/student I decided to experiment with the ink. I removed the moldy layer, and scooped the remaining ink into my #Sunbeam blender. I added a bit of water and a little bit of #Lascaux (screen printing paste) and blended them into a smooth ink. I was pleased with the consistency. I tested the ink on fabric, it was a little less super cover on dark fabrics but worked very well on white. The color changed a little but i still love it. It's still quite glowy. I now have two and a half bottles of the slightly modified glow red ink. If you decide to follow this method just remember to wash ur blender blades and container very well so u can use it again. #practiceledresearch #permasetink #permaset #permasetsupercover #printmaking #screenprinting #ilovescreenprinting #experimentingwithink #artstudio #starvingartist #sustainable #moreinkformybuck #urbanwalls #RadicalMuslim (at Sydney College of the Arts)
