we finished kingdom of the midnight forest tonight (technically 10/23 12:20 AM CST for me)

it’s been a hell of a ride with party members circling in and out. from our first session answering a call to arms from a 13 year old half orc, to all the victories (the princess is alive!) and mishaps (the priestess spying on us for two years), to the emotional moments of killing our past abusers, the tyrant king, the evil priestess, and the goddess lolth. to our last moment together, the rush to get to the portal to get back home. spending spell slot after spell slot to get everyone back and three of us almost getting left behind. from the magnificent characters of jeffery, ownka, marco polo (and his three dragon moms), and princess marinara, to only name a few. 

on a more personal note--

thank you to @radicata for the wonderfully amazing character of zora. that disaster lesbian tiefling was a constant light in the campaign, and your jokes provided life and laughter to even the most emotional of moments. she was a fierce protester of her little adopted family (especially ownka). her interactions with orryn were some of the best moments of the campaign. 

thank you to @osteoclastics for orryn, the tiny gnome necromancer (okay, i’ll admit he’s an adult now). he was a witty character with awesome spells and his interactions with other characters (pc or npc) were amazing (the cook? zora? some of my favorite interactions). he had great one liners and jokes. i always looked forward to seeing your jokes and memes in the discord or google hangout chats.

thank you to @osroshallward, a late addition to the party but a great one. i will forever be grateful to that lil halfling paladin for taking on the responsible role. miriah spent about 5 days in campaign with us total, and i know you as a player were left out on 2 years worth of inside jokes, but you handled both amazingly and it felt like you had been with us for the full two and a half years. 

thank you of course to our wonderful dm, @weirdgirl-14, for creating this wonderful world and providing hundreds of hours worth of storytelling. you create some of the best npcs out there and i’m always eager to know what happens next in your storytelling. you make dnd something light and fun and easy to enjoy. i know we threw you for a loop many, many times (what do you mean we can’t fight off 500 drow at once?), but you handled it so well and made this chit great for us time and time again. 

i love you guys.

Prato: La mafia cinese è ormai ben radicata nel territorio

Prato, il Responsabile del Dipartimento Sicurezza e Immigrazione di Forza Italia Toscana Aldo Milone: "La mafia cinese è ormai ben radicata nel territorio pratese, come lo dimostrano alcuni recenti episodi" Qualche giorno fa la Prefettura di Prato ha notificato alla proprietà della ditta cinese Texprint una misura interdittiva antimafia perché un suo pseudo dipendente, Zhang Yu Sang, detto Valerio, sarebbe in effetti un socio occulto. Recentemente era stato anche arrestato per riciclaggio di denaro sporco e per collegamenti con la 'ndrangheta. Oltre a "Valerio", è stato anche arrestato un altro imprenditore cinese, Bao Deping, resosi responsabile di alcuni episodi delittuosi, come una sparatoria con feriti presso le Cascine di Prato. Questo imprenditore è considerato il rivale del "capo dei capi" della mafia cinese, venuto alla ribalta nella famosa operazione " China Truck", mafia nei trasporti della squadra mobile di Prato di qualche anno fa. Questi due episodi dimostrano che le "Triadi cinesi" sono ormai ben ramificate sul nostro territorio, in particolar modo a Prato. Sarebbe il caso però che non solo le Forze di Polizia si occupino di questo grave problema, ma anche la politica locale. Per questo motivo chiedo che venga istituita in Regione una Commissione speciale che affronti questo tema e cerchi di mettere in atto tutte le misure legislative di sua competenza per combattere questo problema. It was a treat photographing this mushroom with an excellent sounding name - Xerula Radicata, formerly known as Oudemansiella Radicata. It sounds like a character straight out of a Sci-Fi opera. Radicata is known as a deep root mushroom - from Radicata - Root in Latin. This is probably the only mushroom that has a long tooth like root resembling a shank, in some cases as long as 8 inches. i LOVE the concept of sasuke with dogs omg. sasuke “this one is named hamburger and that one is named fridge” uchiha

i haven't even written the fic yet and i'm already gonna have to write a sequel. naruto comes back from sage training and when he's like "sasuke what have you been up to while i was gone!!!" sasuke just holds up a dog. its name is tomato.
