Ash was simply…. Pacing around the underworld. Or whatever this realm was called. They couldn’t care less right now. Stuck down here. For eternity. That’s a long time.

Also a long time to get bored. Every spirit here seemed to be passing just fine, except them. Others were grieving, frustrated and angry, or simply melancholic about their life. Rarely happy. Ash was just… Ash. The one spirit who stayed. Who didn’t seem to really… connect with the other ones.

So, they paced. Paced until someone would stop them. Until they were needed. Or until Grim decided to move further away. They’d be forced to move if he did.
