I decided to update the photo profile of myself on my blog, so here it is! I'm the girl on the left with the blue hair. The cute Asian on the right is my best friend Chris. I am bisexual and I prefer she/her or they/them pronouns. A little about me, my name is Marissa Nicole and I go by Mariss or Riss. I'm 20 years old and I live in Detroit, Michigan, USA. I'm really into video games. Some of my faves include Overwatch, Bioshock Infinite, Resident Evil 7, The Sims 4 and Animal Crossing. I dye my hair almost once every two weeks so I'm always changing. This is as short as it has ever been. I've had almost ever color I can think of. I watch a LOT of cartoons and not much else. My faves by far are Regular Show and Futurama, but I like a lot more including Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, and The Powerpuff Girls. Shows that are NOT cartoons that I watch include HIMYM and The Office. There are probably more, I just can't think of them for some reason. I also watch a lot of YouTube videos. My top people I watch are The Sim Supply and Rhett and Link (GMM). My favorite band is All Time Low, and I post a lot about them. My life is very faith-based. I consider myself a no-denominational Christan, based out of a church group in Detroit. Religion is a huge factor to me when it comes to relationships and everyday life. I can't think of anything else to add to this post but if you read it, THANK YOU, I LOVE YOU and I would love to talk to you and make new friends. I used to think nice arm veins were the best feature a guy could have. In fact, I used to think a lot of silly things back then, before I fell out of love with you. I used to think love was just as wonderful as flying, that you were the only thing I needed in the entire universe to make me happy. I used to think the sun and the moon and the stars in the sky revolved around our lives, just the two of us. I used to think there was nothing you could do to hurt me, that the world could collapse and you’d protect me with your life. I used to think you’d do anything for me. I was wrong about a lot of things back before I fell out of love with you. Flying would have beat the hell out of love. When you fly, you land, but when you love, you hurt. The world did not nor will it ever revolve around two souls in this universe. At times it may feel that way, but it’s not. You were not the only thing I needed to make me happy. I didn’t even need you at all. You did hurt me, and when you said you’d do anything for me, you lied. But it’s okay, because I know now, thanks to you, that I can in fact be happy on my own without you. Yes, without you. You were not the only person I will ever love, or who will ever love me. I no longer think nice arm veins are the most attractive feature a guy can have. I know much better than that.
