Grant Ward never cared about much, but if there was one thing he would be willing to give his life for, it was his twin sister, Rae. Because of this, the Ward siblings became nearly inseparable. Rae loved her brother more than anything, so she followed in his footsteps when he joined S.H.I.E.L.D. That’s why it was perfect when the both got assigned to the same team.

But even with Grant’s help, Rae finds that she can’t exactly understand this team. There’s Phil Coulson, who should be dead but by some miracle isn’t, Melinda May, someone Rae’s only heard stories about, Jemma Simmons and Leo Fitz, a scientist and an engineer who seem to be able to read each other’s thoughts, and Skye, a new addition. 

This team may be a little dysfunctional, but the world needs them.
