The Dare
My first ever Smutsgiving, what can I say, you have all inspired me. I hope this is alright. It’s different.

It was just supposed to be a dare. A dare and nothing more. She didn't even have to do it. Honestly, she didn't know why she did. Perhaps, it was because she wanted to one up the boys, like she always did. She wasn't afraid of some challenge - no matter how ridiculous, and so she could certainly handle this.
Or maybe… it was because a part of her wanted to. If nothing if not to see what it was like.
"Okay, okay." The archer raised a hand in the air to calm the crowd of heroes. "Settle down, everyone will get their turn... But first..." He looked around, savoring their anticipation as he slowly took a swig out his red cup. "I dare you, to...kiss... Raven." Speedy looked positively devious and smug at this.
The boozy haze lifted from the group for a moment. Robin looked shocked. Cyborg lifted a finger and looked like he wanted to say something to intervene on either girl's behalf, but thought better of it. And Aqualad looked a little afraid for Speedy's safety after this was all said and done. Beast Boy blushed furiously, stole a furtive glimpse at the cloaked girl, and looked away. The two girls exchanged glances. Starfire opened her mouth, but shut it, when Jinx shook her head and placed a hand on her shoulder. The pink haired girl watched the scene with rapt attention and a hint of glee.
This ought to be good.
The Common Room fell silent for several minutes. They were all wondering what could possibly happen now. Would she even do it, or would she double back and try to go for truth? Could she do it? She had never failed to complete any of her dares in the past. Had she finally been stumped? No one was sure what was even going on until suddenly the mage in question spoke up.
Raven looked up from her book and shot a dirty look at the redhead, before she replied calmly. "I agreed to be present for this... 'Team outing', but no means will I participate." She gave the leader of Titans East a polite shrug. "Sorry, Bee. I'm sure you're an adequate kisser, but Speedy will just have to pick something or someone else." She returned to her pages, continuing her attempt to block out the saturnalia as best she could.
Bumble Bee looked over at Speedy and raised a brow. Then shook her head. She wasn't afraid. No. Speedy thought he could psyche her out. Make her kiss another girl - as if that was a big deal. But to kiss the mysterious and reclusive beauty? He thought she didn't have the guts. Please. Did he even know her at all? She sauntered over to where the dark girl was sitting. A far enough distance away to observe, but not interfere.
"Raven, I'm so sorry about this. And him." The pale girl looked up. The taller Titan placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "I live with the guy and I swear he's not always like that. Well... most of the time." She smiled kindly at her. The toffee colored eyes crinkling. Raven eyed her suspiciously. Bumble Bee decided to pivot, just in case. She brushed a dark coiled lock of her hair behind her ear and sat down next to her. "So, what are you reading?" She gestured to the worn looking tome.
"Oh, it’s more like re-reading... It's rather old and -" Bumble Bee's body had managed to subtly inch closer and now it was suddenly a little close for comfort. "W-what are you doing?" she asked when Karen pulled off her hood. She gazed deeply into her eyes, as tilted her head to the side. "Karen...?"
Bee leaned down and kissed her hard. Stroking her face with her warm, brown hands. The deafening noises of screams and hoots and hollers blurred into the background. All she could sense now was the dark, sensual flavor of the sorceress's soft lips. The chamomile tea on her breath and her delightful vanilla smell. The shorter girl seemed flabbergasted by what was happening and didn't respond. In fact, Bee was sure her eyes were still open. She was frozen in her seat, but instead pulling away or using her powers to throw her off, she did something else neither of them was expecting. She slowly and apprehensively started to kiss her back. And as more and more seconds went by it was a little more urgently. Her hands moved on top of hers. And Karen was... enjoying this. A lot actually. So much so, she almost forgot the reason why she had kissed her in the first place. For a blissful minute, she forgot where she was completely.
Then, a loud wolf whistle brought her out of it. Bumble Bee slowly returned to her body and opened her gold eyes, as she gently lifted her mouth from Raven's. The purple blinked to open and they stared speechless at one another. Wow, she was really gorgeous up close. Her white cheeks were very flushed and her lips were parted and swollen. She trembled for a moment and eyed her nervously. As Bee looked at her, she felt... guilty. Suddenly, she wished they had been alone together for that kiss. That it had been a private moment. And that she hadn't done this as just a stupid dare.
She had to tell her that.
She deserved to know that.
"Raven... I..." She reached out to touch her arm.
"Bumble bee! Oh man, you win. No one will ever be able to top that. You are a goddess!" Speedy bowed down to her. "And that was really... hot too, huh guys?"
Cyborg, Robin, Speedy, and Aqualad mumbled incoherently and shifted uncomfortably in their seats. Beast Boy's green body was on the floor in a heap. He had passed out. Starfire was grinning like mad. Jinx licked her lips and made kissy faces, as if she couldn't wait for her turn.
Bee shook her head as she peered down at her companion. "Some game, huh?" she asked Raven. Smiling sheepishly at her.
The blue-cloaked girl cleared her throat, before she mumbled shakily, "Yeah... some game." The other Titans, at last came over to slap her on the back and congratulate Bee on a job well done.
Raven replaced her hood and then, she phased through the floor, taking her book along with her.
Along with any sense of achievement that Bumble Bee thought that winning the dare would bring her.
She turned away and touched her mouth. Why had she done that?
What had she done?
