'I’ve never been more excited to go to an art museum, honestly.’ She told the somewhat shorter female who was walking next to her. June, who had majored in art herself, had always found herself looking around and finding beauty within the smallest things. However, not everyone understood this little habit of her’s, as many thought it was bothersome she often needed to stop in her tracks and take a picture of whatever caught her attention. But now finally, she had found someone, who shared the same interested and was even willing to come with her and look at a bunch of boring paintings in an empty white room-- as how her other friends would describe it.

walks at night in the city, when it’s warm enough for shorts but cool enough to borrow a lover’s jacket. 4 am full course meals. getting kicked out of walmart for trying to ride the bicycles around the store. hard beats and crisp drops. fist pumping. bubblegum and expensive perfume. big, expensive headphones. turntables. an extensive contact list. late night hot tub ventures. regularly browsing the pet shop. the smell of tanning lotion. napkins with scrawled digits and a lipstick imprint.

as always of course the sun seems to shine just a little bit brighter when he has amazing company like this. may it be because rae has a way of making everything seem calm and relaxing but whatever it is - luke enjoys it. enjoys her presence which is weird considering how he usually likes to be alone. when given the chance to he’d always make an excuse to not have to see others. and no don’t get him wrong he doesn’t necessarily hate the people around him its just exhausting having to smile for hours just beacuse you’re having company. and what happens when you don’t smile? people take it the WRONG way and assume you’re upset, annoyed or perhaps even angry. but no, nothing amongst other triggers those kind of feelings ( can he even feel them? ) it’s not that he’s upset or annoyed or angry. he’s just plain fucking bored. "aha and what happened next? tell me, i wanna know.”
