“See, you keep saying that. That nothing matters. If that was the case then Scott wouldn’t have called me in for reinforcements.” Theo crosses his arms over his chest, leaning back against the railing. The wood creaks under his weight, but Theo doesn’t step away from it. Liam wishes he was capable of being so careless with his own safety in the way Theo is. Maybe he would have been able to leave the hospital and keep living his life in the same way everyone else has.
“Why do you care so much?” Liam snaps, finally dropping his head to look at Theo head on.
The chimera blinks back at him, entirely unbothered by Liam’s little outburst. It creates a moment of calm that has him turning his head partly away.
“Probably for the same reasons that you’ve been so adamant about following my location.”

today was good and very easy-going. i slept a lot last night so woke up a good hour before my alarms this morning and had a slow work day—i had a lot to do but several people were out of the office so i thankfully didn't have a bunch of meetings filling up my day. i mainly got to focus on email and some other tasks while catching up on a couple of shows and slacking my coworkers. i had a relaxing evening bc i'm gonna be busy this weekend and now it's almost 3AM and i'm still awake just enjoying being in my own bed.
