Hot take: 99% of the cast's writing was off in Season 3. The worst offender being Eve. It's like a switch was flipped where the writers stopped making her a person and are starting to slowly turn her into just a love interest. She was my favorite character after her special came out so its so disappointing seeing this happen to her.

The funeral scene was rage bait with how mad I got with everyone besides Rae. I was jaw-dropped flabbergasted the whole time at everyone's audacity (Mark smiling at a funeral and saying that he's glad that's not him and Eve was so disrespectful in my opinion). Rudy takes on Rex's name after theres a whole scene about Rex talking about how his name is the only thing he has left, this being after Rudy cloned Rex without his consent so that he could be with his deaging crush who wasn't guaranteed to like him back (he chose Rex because he thought that Amanda was attracted to him). This is identity theft to the highest degree, there's nothing honorable about this. Rex himself would be reasonably upset considering, again, Rudy CLONED him without consent and there was nothing he could do about it afterwards but accept it.

Rex, Rae, and Oliver (because he's 1 year old with barely any friends his mental age) were the only people I liked. I steadily grew to become apathetic or dislike everyone else.

Another thing that get's me is the way the writers are handling Mark's writing. I don't know how to explain it, but something feels off. It might be because we rarely see him engage with his civilian identity anymore.

For those not in the loop, This is an au where rex and rae actually end up sleeping together as Rae suggested they should have before rex would eventually die in the invincible war. She ends up having her and Rex's baby, who she names Sol. A name inspired by the father he'll sadly never get to meet.

heres an au ive been working on since i watched season 3 rex and rae were THIS CLOSE to having sex before he fucking died and i think it would have been super sad if they did end up sleeping together only for rex to die and rae finding out shes having their baby afterwards at least she's kept a little part of him alive
