Today was your favourite day of the month. The day were Rafe gives you money to get your nails done, hair done and a shopping trip while he goes to the country club and plays golf. A whole day to yourself to relax and reset. You just got your nails done the final part of the day and got square french tips with some pearls on your ring finger. With your hair freshly died and cut, nails infilled and a new outfit on you’ve never felt better. You couldn’t wait to show Rafe! All you could think about was his reaction when you got home. On your drive home you couldn’t stop staring at your nails resting on the steering wheel and looking at yourself in the wing mirrors to the point you nearly crashed. After some horns sounded and cuss words sent your way by the driver on the other side of the road, your mood still wasn’t put down and you quickly pulled up to the drive of Tannyhill.

“Rafeyyy!” You sung out into the foyer and out he came from round the corner from the living room. You knew you looked drop dead gorgeous and you knew he looked down right sexy right now too. He was wearing some linen trousers which hung lowly on his waist showing off his sculptured v-line and the band of his boxers. And to top it off he had no top on. “Rafe!” You exclaimed jumping into a hug.

“Hey baby, how was your day?” He asked stroking your hair.

“Nuh uh hands off,” you quickly unpeeled yourself from him, “no touching Rafe, i just got my hair done!,” you scolded him. He laughed softly at your dramatic antics and put his hands up in faux defence. “But it was so good! Thank you so much! So what do you think?” You twirled giving him a full view of your new dress, hair and waved your fresh set of nails in your face.

He chuckled, “looking good baby. Now come on,” he picked you up swiftly swinging you over his shoulder walking towards the living room.

“Rafe, careful! Your gonna wrinkle my new dress,” you pouted failing in his arms to put you down but his big muscles kept you in place.

Setting you down on the sofa next to him mumbled lowly, “What? I’ve missed you sweets” as he sat down next to you.

It wasn’t often Rafe let down his guard and said words like these and you used it as your chance to snuggle up to his side and rest your head on his chest, “You missed me huh?”

“Cant a boyfriend miss his girlfriend? Acting like you haven’t missed me when everyday your begging to be at my side 24/7.” He huffed

He seemed to be in a good mood and you were going to take full advantage of this. All over your TikTok you’d seen girls showing off their nails but on top of their mans trousers. Rafe would never agree to do this in a million years, you had to do this sneakily and quickly.

You pulled out your phone and started recording your nails just like you normally would to show your friends, but you kept filming pretending to find the right angle and lighting.

“Jesus woman does it really matter how good the quality is its just for your friends,” Rafe never understood why everything had to be perfect even a little video like this but he ignored you once again and went back to whatever is on tv. Perfect. He’s distracted. Now’s your chance. Game plan is a go.

Your ‘new’ angle was now the floor, then the sofa, then your thigh. And then his. You slowly inched your way high towards his crotch careful not to get his attention and bingo! You were there. Pushing your luck you slightly put the tips of your fingers down his pants.

Rafe thought nothing of it until he saw your phone, “Woah what the fuck kid, cut that shit out,” He shot up straight and grabbed your phone.

“Come on Rafe lighten up a bit, just a TikTok,” you tried to give him your best doe eyes and a slight pout knowing that would easily make him fold.

“Dont fucking care if its just a TikTok dont be filming me like that,” His works sounded harsh but his tone wasn’t, you knew you’d got him and that thought was solidified when he passed you back your phone with the video not deleted.

“Im sorry, wont do it again,” you lied straight to his face, already making the caption to your TikTok and posting it.

rafes girl would become really close with ward and rose. she’s a sweetheart and wants to be respectful towards them, and have a good relationship, especially since she’s always round tannyhill. rose would take her out on girls days and they would go for brunch and shopping. ward would start inviting her to family events and holidays. she loves it sm, knowing that rafes family loves her. and so does he to a certain extent, though he feels like she hangs out with them a lot now and he doesn’t have as much alone time with her.

he’s had enough one night when she’s getting ready at her vanity in rafes rooms and he asked her where she’s going and sweetly she said, “got dinner with ward and rose, rafey” still applying makeup and he starts rambling on about how he wasn’t told about this, asking for the time they’re going and how he feels like he never gets told anything in this house. and when he’s done ranting, she looks up at him innocently and says, “no rafe, just me and them, not you. you’re babysitting wheez tonight.” and goes back to getting ready and he’s just standing there like what, why are you spending a friday night with my parents???? but he doesn’t say anything and just goes back downstairs.

you had been sleeping around with rafe for a few months now, it was fun, exciting and it was a bonus that he would sometimes buy you gifts. although you were “just fuck buddies” you two would act like a couple, no one knew about this arrangement except the two of you, it did upset you a little bit that you couldn’t show him off. but who cares!? you were young and wanted to have fun. plus he was very easy on the eyes, so there were no complaints on your end. you know who else was extremely hot? jj maybank. so it was just fantastic that you also had the pleasures of messing around with him. your situation with the blonde was exactly the same as the one with the kook prince. there was just a little problem though, they had yet to find out about each others involvement in your life. it wasn’t your fault! it wasn’t exactly an easy conversation to have, what did people want you to say? “oh by the way i’m also fucking your arch nemesis!” so you thought it was easiest to keep it all a secret, what they didn’t know can’t hurt them. however it wouldn’t be long until they did find out.

it was the annual bonfire party, where kooks and pogues all come together to get drunk and have fun, forgetting about their differences. you were technically a kook but you didn’t believe in all that and heavily disagreed with the feud. you were friends with people from both classes, everyone on the island loved you. you were kildares sweetheart. you were bubbly and friendly and also ditsy and a bit naive. these traits only escalated when you were drinking. it was a few hours into the party, and being the animal you were you’d already had three cans of cider, four glasses of some carton cocktails and nearly a quarter bottle of vodka,to say you were waisted was an understatement. so jj took you under his wing and sat you down on a log, nursing you back to at least being able to say your own name again.

you could now semi form a full sentence, so decided you were ready to go out and mingle. jj stood opposite you, hands on your waist, “okay sweets, if you wanna go back out there do it. but just know i’m going to be by your side the whole time, okay babe?” he said gently rubbing your sides. and as you were about to turn around to go back to the other a strong familiar hand landed on your shoulder, and a voice you knew all too well spoke, “he bothering you babe?” rafe moved to stand between you and jj but you lightly shove him so he’s next to you instead, “rafe no- he was just looking after me”. jjs face showed he was nothing but confused, “babe? just a word of advice buddy, never call a girl that again if you don’t know them” with a faux brotherly hand on rafes chest, really pushing the boundaries. rafe just chuckled in amusement at jjs lack of knowledge, “thats my girl, pogue. go back to your own side of the island, okay?” jj looked at you before looking back to rafe, “nah she’s mine” now it was rafes turn to be confused. they just started at each other in silence trying to process what the other had just said, the only sounds that could be heard was the crashing of waves and distant conversations and music from the party. and also your drunken giggles. “something funny kid?” rafe questioned. “yeah something you wanna say, girlie?” jj also asked. their tone was intimidating but your giggles continued. as they stood on either side of you, you put a hand on both their chests and confessed, “you’re both my boyfriends, sillies!” with a big grin, while drunkenly and happily walking away back to the party, while rafe and jj continued to stand in silence figuring out what to do next.

it 100% would take soooo much convincing for him to let you do this with him even on a good day, but he finally caved. and you’d start off with little things like, “she’s a ten but she takes ages to get ready” and he’s say something like “8/10” which is still good and as it progresses youd say more obvious things like “she’s a ten but she has an obsessive shoe collection” with a “as some might say” mumbled on the end, which is what rafe thinks. and he kind of had a feeling all along that he knew what you were doing but this just confirmed it and he’d say something like “hmmmm… i don’t know, sounds like some princess i’ve had to deal with recently… 10/10”

jj:

jj would not have a clue what’s going on, let’s be honest. you’d be like “she’s a ten but she’s kinda clingy” and he would say, “ughhh 5” and you’d just ignore not him at first thinking he was joking and that he knew what was happening but he kept on saying low scores and it didn’t seem like he was messing around anymore. especially when you’d say, “she’s a ten but she makes you take her wherever you go even if it’s with your friends” and he’d be so adamant saying, “nahh like a 2” and you’d just get up and walk away whispering, “i don’t like this game anymore” he’d realise after that and follow you immediately to make up for what he said.

john b secretly loves to do your little tiktoks with you, he would even start sending you ones you two could do together. he had already seen someone do this trend but he didn’t mention it cause he wanted to see if you’d do it with him. so throughout the whole thing he’d be smirking to himself, and giving nines and tens for all the answers. you’d even ask half way through off camera “have you seen this trend before” because you’re suspicious that he’s saying a girl would still be a 10/10 if they have to be constantly with you and relied solely on you, and he still wouldn’t let up saying “no baby, jus’ answering honestly” but that night while you two were cuddling in bed he’s finally confess, and you’d half heartedly slapped him on the chest.
